Which ones specifically? I’m hoping they go back with the DH in the NL.
I’m for the DH in the NL as well….. I saw an article yesterday about MLB trying to figure out its boredom issue…… some of the changes recommended were stealing first base…… bigger bases to make it easier to be safe…. Eliminating shifts……robot umpires.

Errything sounds good but the robots.

I don’t like either of the first two options or robot umpires….. I do feel like they should move the pitching mound back….. allow shifts but make teams keep 4 infielders….. they have taken all the action out of baseball….. no managers arguing at the plate anymore…… no hard slides at second…… no plays at the plate….. no fights….. no drama at all anymore….. I wish they could get rid of free agency but I know that is impossible.

I actually prefer old school baseball. For example, trying to figure out what to do when your pitcher (who is throwing great) is coming up to bat with the bases loaded and two outs. When Braves had Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz and Avery, I watched every day I was able. I never found it boring. What ruined the game for me was baseball strikes and steroids.

I don’t find it boring now but can see why me would….. steroids never bothered me at all….. players have always searched for competitive advantages since the beginning of time.

They *****fied baseball and ruined it.

Strikes, financial inequity and free agency ruined it for me.

Glad baseball is a topic of discussion this morning ….what are y’all’s thoughts on putting a runner at 2nd base in extra innings 👀👀 I’ll hang up and listen.😂

Stealing first base? Can someone explain that to me? Also, eliminating shifts is absurd! Maybe the batters need to learn how to hit the ball to the opposite field? I mean after all they are professionals. Freddie Freeman makes a killing beating the shift.

Baseball might pull better ratings if the games were on regularly available channels. I have Youtube TV in Atlanta and this season the Braves were rarely televised on the available channels. Compared to last year when I could view nearly every game. I don’t care enough to buy a special package either and I would imagine this is also why the generation younger than me doesn’t care about MLB.

Wasn’t there a study done that shows 20 somethings would rather watch someone play video games on Twitch than MLB? Not good for the future of baseball.

Similar to what is happening to college football… A lot of fun and dramas being taken out of it with some of the rule changes they have made, especially targeting. I am all for projecting a player for launching add another player and for blatant targeting. It is ludicrous that players are ejected for inadvertent targeting, especially when offensive players duck their heads at the last moment to cause it.

I like the fact that it brings small ball, strategy into game...something that’s disappeared for the most part. I think it’s pretty amateurish though.

We’re going to give up some points Saturday. Probably even give up some on the first few possessions. Good chance we may be scoring too though so don’t let the BVS sink in. I think we end up winning because in the end they can’t stop our run game.

bama allowed ole miss to score 21 points. I could probably live with that, but would prefer 19-20. Multiple ole miss field goals instead of TDs would be more fun. Or if kiffin has the audacity of going for it on 4th down, just stopping them and taking possession…

I think the whole Gruden thing is a sign that the curse is lifting. It would have been so Tennessee, in the past, for him to come here and have us rolling and then have this happen. He didn't come here. The curse has fled. Hope it winds up at Florida.

Can we send 1/3 of the curse to uf
1/3 to uga and
1/3 to bama?

I think that would just about do it…

13-2 🤠
