Hopefully our first play is a deep ball for a TD
Come out firing then run it down their throats

Our special teams play hasnt looked as good as it did early in the season. JMO
There was a whole SEASON when we couldn’t field a kick or kick an extra point. We have a missed 47 yard FG, a flubbed kickoff coverage, a shanked punt and a fake punt for a TD. I’m in relative Heaven! Our coverage has been lights out, FG’s aren’t an adventure and punting is solid. All that can be asked.

I’ll absolutely take a coach that wants the best in every aspect of the game rather than just 1 area. Stuff like the things mentioned happens and it looks to have been corrected. We’re miles better than we’ve been in some time.

I think penalties will be the key. If we get some "home calls" that put them in long situations, it will stall drives. However if we revert to early season mistakes, it will stop us from scoring. Remember Florida!!!!

Tenn low penalties = 37
Ole Miss = 28

Tenn high penalties = 28
Ole Miss = 35

They’ve played much cleaner ball games I expect the same Saturday.

Wet blanket BVS post incoming...

We're just not there yet. OM's level of competition has been better than ours, and we're still not playing with a full deck (65 or so scholarship athletes). With everything in me I hope I'm wrong. We know how to win when we come out and punch someone in the nose, but I'm not sure if we have the mentality to mount a comeback if OM gets ahead 14-17 points.

Very similar to the Bama Ole Miss game.. Kiffin didn't learn his lesson and his arrogance gets them beat.. Ole Miss doesn't covert on multiple 4th downs missing out on multiple chances to put points on the board. By the time they make adjustments, we've pulled too far ahead. 42-21 Vols
