Some of the guys that didn't play Saturday were dressed and ready to go in if we had to have them. And some that are being managed did go in. We're going to be managing key guys the rest of the season and some will be playing through nagging injuries. Getting the wins early helps us and getting a W against Ole Miss at home would help even more. Tough SEC stretch ahead with some challenging road games.

I LOVE that we are able to manage players and get them rest against SEC teams. We couldn't do that the last 5 years. We had to have every one of our best players at all times. "Not so fast, my friend!" - Josh Heupel IMO

I’ve been doing this since I got laid off with the lockdown in March 2020 and have never been late once so I doubt I’ll be canned, but I know I won’t have a route today which sucks

Heupel didn’t recruit anyone on the team out of high school, is using a QB that Pruitt brought in, and still beat Beamer by 25.

Imagine Heupel once he gets his own players.
