well, we know what those comments mean because we have seen them before - it is grasping at straws for a moral victory.

So i think i am in the minority here, but I would take the under on the 79.5 points this weekend.

I think this will be a LoS battle and we will run more than we will pass - they play a 3 man front that begs us to run. We will. Slowing down the game and keeping them off the field. So I could see a 38-35 type of game. I could also see our D getting the upper hand and shutting down a few of their drives so maybe even a 35-20 type of game.

Just my two cents.

typically, when these kinds of games get pigeon holed in to being only 1 certain way, it's not uncommon for those games to turn out to be the exact opposite of the billing..........so i'm kinda with you. i htink there'll be points, but i think it will be two coaches that want to do what they want to do, but understanding, keeping the other guy off the field is a good thing....

so, i'm seeing something along the lines of 36-30 type game.....maybe? lol.

Yeah… Ole Beamer won’t get as lucky next year when we don’t take our foot off the pedal after HALFTIME. He’ll have to enjoy 70+ being put on his weak squad at their place. Some things you just shouldn’t say!

When the total is 79.5, you can't have too many long drives or a couple of drives that end with no points. It almost has to be perfect football.

I'm bringing my two nephews that have never been to a game in Neyland, they are 18 and 13. We're bringing them to experience everything you can at stadium. We are really excited.

J Mitchell will be out for the rest of the season

he had shoulder surgery.

This is probably going to be the best chance that we have at putting on a show for the nation.

Barstool will be here and they are excited. I heard on their show where they might be taking extra people down because they all want to come to Knoxville. The guy that created Coach Duggs (Big Cat) will obviously be here, but they may be bringing the guy that played Duggs in all of their videos. They'll be big for the college/frat crowd.

Like I said earlier, Josh Pate from 247/CBS is coming. He usually gets great access, so he'll be shooting and sharing videos and pics throughout the day. He's definitely going to be on the field for the game so his first-person account of how things are going on Rocky Top will catch the attention of the common fan.

This will be our best chance to raise two big orange middle fingers to the loud, arrogant, and proudly misinformed fans of Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss (especially) that paint us as has-beens and a dead program.

I hope we show out.

If we do checker the stadium, with the new lights that we'll finally get to use in a meaningful game, and a raucous environment, that could definitely make for some wild videos. Especially if we pounce on Ole Miss and the crowd stays into it.
