Here’s why I think ole miss wins

The key to us winning is knowing that Kiffin relishes messing with our fan base. He's going to dream up some stuff just to play against us. He will look to stun us early. After that it would just be psychological warfare. If we can absorb the shock of whatever he has dreamed up, then we can play with Old Miss.
That being said, I won't be surprised if we lose by a couple of touchdowns. I love what Im seeing in this team. But I don't think these last 2 games are representative of where we actually are as a team. I think the 2nd half of the SC game is a microcosm of where we really are.
Yep he will look to take the crowd out of it early

If all it took for Tennessee to win was for fans to be positive, Fulmer would still be coach and we would have never lost. The guy posted legitimate concerns and you, with all of your facts and knowledge, called him an idiot.

I think this game will be tight, but depth if definitely a concern especially with how fast everyone expects this game to go.
Thanks! When people get mad about a fellow fan pointing out some of the team’s deficiencies or predicting a possible loss, it’s very telling on the character. And the only reason I respond to name calling is because I just have fun with it.

Some of you guys seriously need to work on reading comprehension skills. These are just predictions. And as far as hearing about it? I certainly hope so.
I comprehend just fine. You assume some things for no reason whatsoever... you take what you think you know about UT but ignore what you don't know about the opponent... and conjure up this negative "prediction". You then posted it some how, some way,... thinking no one would challenge your "prediction"? What exactly was your purpose... did you expect to be patted on the back and affirmed?

Ole Miss may win. They're better than the last two opponents on O. They're not as good as USCe on D. But UT is playing very good right now and are marginally better on D.

1.Their ability to throw the ball better than us
2. depth
3. Our injured
4. The pressure is on us because their HC
5. They’ve faced better competition than us so far

I hope I’m wrong but here’s my game and score predictions.

For some reason, we go back to making stupid mistakes that cost us a chance.

We get down big early.

Ole miss 41
Tennessee 28

You may be correct that we lose. This is going to be a tough out.

But you are either very drunk or uninformed if you think we only score 28 on them at home. Seriously. USC has a much better defense than Ole Miss. Arkansas is averaging way less points than us and hung 51 on them in Oxford.

There is just no ****ing way they hold us to 28.

Seriously dude! Think before you post, or at least do some rudimentary research. You obviously just pulled that score out of your ass.

Mistake free, sure we score more than 28 but I’m predicting silly mistakes. So if you can score 28 with turnovers that’s pretty good. Ole miss is going to try and make Hooker have to throw a lot. Hooker hasn’t had to do that.

Hey guys, grow up. You can disagree with someone without calling them an idiot negative fan or saying they don't know anything when they simply give an opinion.

I think we certainly have a good chance to win this game. We really need to focus on controlling the ground game. They can't stop the run, and we're really good at running it. Wear them out and keep their offense off the field. That's got to be the goal. Our defense also had a pulse, so hopefully we can stop them a fair amount.

Not an idiot... just suffering from a common Vol fan malady these days. UT has had so many years of not playing to the level of their talent that fans see "monsters" everywhere. They see UT as thin and every injury as catastrophic.... and everyone else as deep and healthy. They ONLY look at depth and injuries in a UT vacuum.

Ole Miss is not a deep team if you're talking about quality players. Kiffin inherited a QB and some good skill players. He inherited a wreck on D. As best I can tell, their OL is no deeper than UT's and wouldn't even be that without a couple of portal transfers. Ole Miss has injuries that they're dealing with and some fairly significant talent gaps. These are not problems unique to UT.

I think this game will be tight, but depth if definitely a concern especially with how fast everyone expects this game to go.
UT will go fast on O. UT WANTS to get into the 2nd and 3rd DL's for Ole Miss. They want to get into the LB's... even their starters aren't very good.

On the other side, UT is much deeper than Ole Miss on the DL. UT has 9 legitimate guys who can play on the DL plus 3 at least that can play at the rush end/lb. Twelve guys who can play in the front 4 and produce. They'll probably need them all. Ole Miss will need guys they do not appear to have on the DL.

So you already know who will be out With Injuries?? The only one out for sure is Juwan Mitchell and he's out the rest of season after Surgery. The rest that was injured could very well be Back. Or you think TN is just so weak they gonna get hurt in this Game?

Good news is Heupel said (per his presser today) all players will be back in action Saturday except for Mitchell that’s out for the season. So we’re pretty much back to full strength, 71 scholarship style.

All I know, with the previous teams the last few years, it would take 3 weeks to score enough to win this game. We may not win, but we have the team to compete...lets go get it

It’s….a…..prediction. I don’t think Mays will be back and Evans I don’t think will be 100 percent. And every third play the announcers says “we’ve got an injured vol on the field. We have guys go down every other field goal snap. Guys are playing a lot of snaps. Ole miss is a deeper team.

Two key factors. Our running game and the Ole Piss run defense. We can run the ball and ole p*** cant stop us.

Wow. Do you realize that Arkansas just ran for 324 yards on Ole Miss and they are giving up 192 ypg, which is 106th in the country?

But they are "going to force Hooker to throw the ball".

How, exactly? I'll bet you a cnote that we go over 200 yards rushing. I'm serious.

And BTW Mary, Hooker CAN throw the ball if he has to. At least enough to matter.

Well HH has a better passer efficiency rating than Corral; so how do you figure they pass the ball any better than us??
