See, that’s what I call smart recruiting.

Everyone pissed it’s not against Ole Miss but not realizing that it’s good especially if we absolutely destroy USCe in these alternates.

Plus the atmosphere will be insane, also, I like that all the coaches are working together to recruit.

I get what youre saying. But im still pissed it isnt against Ole Miss. Things might be made for a better atmosphere, but the next week will be 10x better with a win over SCAR. The energy is just different at night, then add Kiffin will be there. Plus 10k more in the building. Plus youre talking about a noon kick which are usually flat. It just seems like a wasted opportunity doing it this week.

The starting out with the win stuff is whatever, its a noon game, the atmosphere will never come close to a night kick. And last opponent stuff really doesnt matter, I could care less who we first wore them against.
Special moments like this are for big games SCAR isnt a big game.
Its the point of making SCAR more important than they actually are. Its SCAR, some of TN worst teams have beaten them. Theyre not that talented. Its not someone you need to do something special for. Just show up, play well and win.

I see it like this. If we go on a scale of 1-10. 10 being the best.
Noon kicks are usually a 3, SEC home opener, I will give it a 4, new jerseys and whatever bumps it to a 6.
Ole Miss is a night kick that starts around a 6, Kiffins return so that gets a point 7, Win over SC lets say gets it to an 8. Now, add in a surprise with the black jerseys and youre talking 10.
So would you rather have Neyland at a 6 in a noon kick against SCAR. And Ole Miss at an 8
Or SCAR game around a 4, but Ole Miss at a 10?

New coach, culture- he’s connecting with these players, new uni’s (which I like btw) these kids will run through a brick wall Saturday if that’s what it takes. We’re gonna win Saturday, no doubt about it. Can’t wait
