Not a booster himself. More like an associate. Asked by other booster/boosters to help change the way the old regime was making decisions. It was a booster struggle, but the old guard was clearly assisting the AD in making poor choices. Specifically, they wanted the Haslam's to step aside from influencing the AD's decisions.

Honestly the only good thing Butch Jones did for the program (not counting some of his hits on players obviously) was the Smokey Greys (the Nike version with helmets).

Those have been hands down my favorite alternate uniform we've had. I still want a helmet for the office (if anyone knows a good place to snag them?)

I lived in college park next to some UT basketball players (won't name them) and we smoked out all the time - literally their place was a drug house - buying, selling, trading, you name it. The things you would see - can't unsee it now.

Used to buy from an MTSU athlete when I went there. He was biggest seller on campus and his house was much the same way. He ended up going pro too.
