SC has only scored 1 more offensive TD through 5 games than we did against just Missouri. Idc how close this series traditionally has been the last decade, we're covering the spread pretty easily this weekend.
Their defense is a lot better than mizzous

There's a great Bill Burr bit where he talks about this.

Ya see all these fat blobs on the news talkin about Tiger Woods Arnold Scharzenegger etc "oh my gosh reprehensible behavior"

They have no idea what it's like to have a bus load of Scandinavian women ready to f*** his brains out after he walks off the 18th hole!
Where he talks about how Arnold is one of the greatest men ever lol.. he has lived the American dream

Bill Burr is one of the goats. This bit is hilarious and all true. Love it.

This article has some nice perspective based on our SP+ rating. We’re currently trending better than Butch and Pruitt’s second year and that is with a depleted roster.

It’s five weeks; we’ll see. But in this metric at least, the Vols have moved from “Better than most of the last five years,” to “Faster pace than Dooley’s early rebuild,” to “On pace with Butch and Pruitt in year two,” to “…Okay, I don’t know what to do with this team, but I’m excited about the possibilities.”

Yes, Larry Pratt covered salary reductions for lower tier staffers so their families wouldn't suffer financial hardships during the pandemic. He's a major donor for all marquee sports-- Pratt Pavilion and locker room complex for bball, multiple phases of Neyland stadium renos and new LNS renos. He takes the role of lead donor, kickstarting fundraising and getting others on board.

He was the major player for LNS expansion, pushing things forward while UT was waffling a bit. The Pratts also have multiple endowments. He's a great guy who likes working behind the scenes to get things done. Wish we had more like him.
LA, you say wish we had more like him...

Maybe you can answer this for me, or maybe you have before, and I just missed it...how many more do we need? As far as our boosters, those that are big money, and those that are big BIG money, how do we stack up against Bama and UGA in that department? Numbers wise? Do they have 10, 20 big players, and we have 5 to 7? Do we have just as many? Your best guess, or opinion?

It is better for sure, but they're still giving up 5.3 yards per carry over their last 3 games. Including 4.8 yards per carry last week to Troy that was averaging 2.4 yards per carry coming into the game so they're trending the wrong way.

I think we can run on them well this weekend, but they are one of the best teams in the country in takeaways which worries me a little bit.
