Before the season when I was looking at both QBs and what they had done the thing that stuck out about Hooker (and why I thought he was the better pick then) was that he only had 2 games in his career where he threw more than 1 pick and never had a game where his completion % was sub 50. And he only had 30 or more attempts twice, so the passing yards numbers were just never going to be really high because he wasn't getting much opportunity to throw at VA Tech.

I don't think that blackouts in the stands look nearly as impressive as a 100% team color, or other color coordination



Aside from everyone wearing black, there's nothing stunning or striking about it. That stadium looks way bigger and more intimidating in all red. I think Neyland would look the same way.

Hell, most of our November games are 70%+ blackouts anyway because people are wearing coats and jackets

Arkansas game will be hard fought. If we take care of South Carolina comfortably with minimal injuries I think we can be a trap game for Ole Miss.

My first thought was i would rather beat UGA and keep them from winning it all. But also we've literallly never beat Saban and i have so much built up anger and sadness over the years because of it.

This one is very difficult. Beating Bama would be so sweet but I really, really, really want 1980 to still be a thing. I would have to say I would rather beat Georgia, because they will be riding so high coming into Neyland, and crushing their dreams would be sweeter than crushing Bama's. Maybe one more NC gets Saban one step closer to retirement too.

Here's a question. On the screen where VJ scored all the line men were just standing around. I think he got some blocking but not from these guys. Was that intended to decoy or what?

He had 2 lineman downfield that were blocking for him. But honestly they were creating a funnel for him by having the nearest lineman near him block normal

Alright, enough of this. I've been eating crow all weekend, but come on, nobody can go back and watch the first 4 games and tell me that Hooker was a good passer without lying.

Heupel is working wonders with him just as he has every other QB. Hooker is getting better. And that's great.

I agree. I'm trying to more realistic when it comes to the majority of Vol fans. lol

I just feel like after 3+ years of trash, most fans won't come crawling back after 1 SEC win.

I haven’t looked at other teams to figure out who I want to trade for but I’m looking at trading Kamara too. He’s getting a lot of carries which is great, and he had 120 yards yesterday but not a single catch and Taysom Hill is taking goal line opportunities away. No bueno.
