People hating on Tennessee’s running game……

We are the only team so far this season that has rushed for over 100 yds against Florida (Big bad Alabama didn’t even manage 100 yds on them)

The physicality that team played with was insane. One of Butchs two stupid moves was made after that season and that was getting rid of Dave Lawson.
I cant decide if that or getting rid of Pittman was dumber.

They deserved so much better than what they got. So much better.

Watching Arkansas take it to Texas and beat A&M made me think of our early 2015 games. Arkansas took advantage and announced their presence, and we withered. Now, it's a long way to go and Arkansas may yet fall apart (we finished strong at least), but it's just a frustrating reminder of how close we were to being back only to waste what may have been the last best shot.

Nope, I want to see more of it. That drive that started with 8 straight runs was beautiful.
I was thinking about that drive this morning, if Evans doesnt get hurt TN had all the momentum and the 4th down drop never happens. Florida's D line was sucking wind and Evans was getting stronger with each carry. I think we hit them with a PA pass and score to cut it to 3 if that drive keeps going. But Evans going down gave UF their second wind.

Hooker was connecting on passes against UF. Problem is the WRs dropped a lot of them. Hooker only had one bad overthrow. Which every QB has at times. So I'm all behind the Hooker train.

I wouldn’t even call that a bad overthrow though. I went back and rewatched it, and he got hit as he was releasing that pass which messed it up. Commentators didn’t say anything about it, just were saying he missed a wide open throw. When the reason he missed it was because he couldn’t follow through.

Also, a little trivia for those of you who didnt know. Not only is Jay Graham running backs coach, and Randy Sanders is HC, but Dave Lawson is the strength coach for ETSU right now.

I had that thought too over the weekend. Most of these young guys probably idolized him and spent years trying to craft their game and competitiveness after him. Whoever that was the beat Rahm yesterday just kind of walking around like "no big deal"...I was like damn that's some cold-blooded nerves of steel.

Scottie Scheffler..he drug Rahm right out the gate...Rahm was down four before he knew what was going on.

Butch is coming to Statesboro this weekend. I'm gonna try to find where he's staying and leave a series of strategically placed notes for him to find that remind him of his failures ("Remember when all you had to do was go for 2 and/or bat a pass down and you win the East?" "You are responsible for the only winless conference season in program history" "You lost to Vanderbilt twice, dude") because I'm not at all bitter and I use my time wisely.

I just don’t understand how @volbeast33 guy was saying Milton hits those in practice and then boom Milton gets in a real game and it’s like he has never thrown a football before.

I wondered if it was dirty, ESPN never showed a replay from what I recall. Still, to see the line just dominating like that was beautiful. I really hope Heupel took some notes and we see that this weekend. He can also go fast with it if he wants, since all they have to do is say run it again.

Theyre loaded this year. Holmes their back is really good, I would love to see him hit the portal this year and get a shot at a bigger school.
This past weekend was huge for them, they hadnt won @ Samford since they brought football back. It was a huge monkey off their back.
