Curious what round you all think Theo is playing himself into? Is he a prototypical NFL body or will he be one of those breakout seniors, but not quite an NFL type, so he still goes late or UDFA? I feel like (and I really have no idea) if he were to keep it up he could be a day 2 guy. One thing I could see holding him back would be limited tape to go off of, considering he really wasn't a factor before this season.

Either way, it's awesome to watch this guy become a DUDE right in front of our eyes under this staff.

I was not glad it was Jeremy. I was so very, very happy it was not Schiano.
I remember the day Fulmer announced Pruitt as our new coach. I had to google him to find out anything about him and couldn't believe we didn't get someone who had head coaching experience. Then, when I heard him speak, I just shook my head.

I'm really curious to see what the spread will be against Mizz.
Was wondering too. Some sites have us as a dog, even sizeable...but I don't get how. Their own numbers really don't match up. I get Mizzou's offense appears extremely efficient, but they've played a bottom 10 schedule and defense is straight trash.

Jmo but anywhere from +3 to -3. I'll go with Mizzou by 1.5 just due to home field.

IMO you have to start TMAC over Tank or Charles over Flowers. I’d be close to doing both but it’s hard to yank both but they both are liabilities in back. I lean yank Flowers as I think he has been giving pathetic Pruitt type effort.
I have to agree that we need some changes I. The back end. I don’t think Flowers has been bad but Tank is a liability. We have very nice young talent back there. Give them a shot. I’m surprised we are playing mostly upperclassmen everywhere. I think some of our young talent is actually better.

I agree on that. They had to pull VJ off due to 2 number 1's on the field. Probably wasn't a terrible decision as the punt was probably going to result in a touch back or a fair catch deep or possibly being downed inside the 10. Not sure where the number 10 player was.

Didn’t both 1s leave the field ?

A lot of people said this after they lost Trask, Pitts, and Toney..
Until Mullen moves on, I won't trust the idea that they're rebuilding. They have a ton of talent atm. The talent gap between us and them is wider than between us and UK. That's ridiculous. And he might be the best Xs and Os coach out there. Need him to gtfo and bring in another sharkhumper or Zook.

One thing I was told was that Charlie Ergen was prepared to step up to the plate, particularly pertaining to NIL. That surprised me given what you've said in the past. He's always paid for advertising but I'm not sure whether to believe this.
I can't wrap my head around being a billionaire from Oak Ridge and sitting on the sidelines. If the google is correct about his net worth, he could merely donate a portion of the interest from a portfolio of AAA bonds each year and we'd be set for the entire year...

It's astounding to me too. He's worth more than the Haslams.

So we lost to Florida. Again. What else is new? Every UT coach in my lifetime has lost in the Swamp, many times even when they had a more talented team, which was definitely not the case last night.

We all knew this was going to be a loss. Knew it before the season. Even the sunshine pumpers picking us to go 9-3 had this as one of the 3. It’s not a referendum on the coaching staff. Make the field goal at the end of the first half and catch the pass on 4th and 5 and this is a competitive game going into the 4th quarter. Not worth wasting any years over losing to them, they appear to be every bit of a top ten team.

Mizzou is the game we need to worry about. Lose to them, UK, and SC and it will be time to start panicking.

Kirby went 7-5 at Georgia with a loaded roster his first year. Just have to remember it takes a year to implement your culture and system. And it gives you a year to recruit more players. We are lucky the 32 rule is coming and we will take full advantage. I think we will look like a whole new team next year. I’m not expecting to win the East year two, but I fully expect eight wins if JH is the guy.

3rd rounder if 1-2 teams fall in love with the production and whatever measurables that result from the Shorts Olympics. 5th or lower if they consider the full body of work.
