I don't think I have shamed anyone. But, and I tend to do this longer than I should, admittedly, I am going to continue to trust our coach over pretty much anyone who posts on here except @InVOLuntary. I only mention him because he is so feeble and being untrusted might send him over the edge.

Clearly, it is only because Heup is so enamored with Milton's big arm. There can be no other possible reason.

Indeed sir. But you know the nature of this place. If someone has an opinion that doesn’t Pan out, it always doubles back for laughs

For the record, I would love to see Bailey do great and will be the first to admit I was wrong. I just called an early shot with my opinion and folks kinda don’t like it 😂

People have drawn lines and dug into absolutes. We have three QBs with different skillsets, all have things to work on and none are where we need them to be. They all have good days, okay days and bad days in practice, and they're all works in progress.

This narrative that Milton has dazzled in practice while Bailey is awful and Hooker is meh-- I haven't talked to anybody around the program or who watches practice who says that. Not sure why people are so invested in building one guy up, tearing another guy down and ignoring or discounting the capabilities of the third, when all three bring something to the table. The coaches are developing all of them, all are competing, nobody has a bad attitude and everybody wants to contribute and win. We may need all three of them, so I'm rooting for all of them-- and hope they all get better fast.

Idk why it’s so hard for people to just want to win and not give a damn who the qb is. I couldn’t care less

He makes good decisions. The one sack early he got was due to coverage. He wanted to throw it to the middle of the field but saw a LB float over late and he would of thrown it into triple coverage so he ate the sack.

he really is just deep ball accuracy away from being all you want in a QB

Thanks for the response. I just don't think he's got anything to lose in year 1 with the limitations at QB. I think our fanbase is beginning to understand that. I wish to goodness the hype had not been created about Milton during fall camp. Did a disservice to the kid, the team and the coaching staff by pumping expectations up unrealistically.

The answer to our QB problem:




What's that? on the second play of the video he hits a go route to a receiver in stride? Amazing. "Perfect ball placement. Basically handed the thing to him."

The third play of the video, hits another deep ball perfectly in stride to Velus Jones. Wait? I thought HB was throwing only to walk ons in the spring game? Interesting.

the next play, another dime on a deep ball to a wide open Velus Jones for a touchdown. Man, if only we had a QB on the roster who could hit wide open receivers...

At 2:50, another perfect deep ball to walk on Jimmy Calloway.

At 3:20, a perfect strike on a slant to walk on Andison Coby being guarded by walk on Alontae Taylor

12/15, 260 yards, 2 touchdown passes

Florida is going to be a huge challenge regardless of who is playing QB. I say play them both, similar to Ainge and Schaeffer. Maybe someone takes the job, what do you have to lose?

After 2 games, Milton looks like he gives you the best chance for an upset, but also the biggest chance to be embarrassed. I think a mix of Milton and Hooker could cause problems for the Gators.

Another thing I wish our receivers would realize because I’ve only seen Milton do it in tight windows.

If you see Milton throwing a laser beam to you, don’t try and make a football move. Just catch the ball.

That is it just focus completely on catching it, because if he is throwing you a laser beam it means you are about to get hit due to the tight window he is throwing it into.

Like the laser beam he threw to Velus on the sideline. Look if he is doing that, there is a reason. Just catch it.
