Hooker: 15-21, 71%, 188 yards passing, 9.0 avg., 2 TD's, 1int, with 168.5 rating.

Milton thru 2 games: 18-35, 51.4%, 189 yards passing, 5.4 average, 1 TD, 106 rating.
It is craziness that people are still clamoring for Milton. Dude is bad. Gotta move on. Hooker wasn’t perfect but he kept us in the game.

Lol I wonder what Swain is thinking… he was all over Joe Milton on the radio. He kept saying he’d light it up and he’d be the best QB we’ve had in years. Which I hoped that would be true nevertheless it clearly wasn’t
lol , Swain was riding with Hooker until he found out Milton was here and then he was all in on Milton. I bet he has a pocket full of excuses for Milton.

No he wasn’t crying… no clue what that was. Maybe broken ribs and breathing was hurting/making him jerk?

He was bad when he left Michigan and people really thought he was going to come in here and take the SEC by storm and most still thinks he is the man and Heup is probably one of them. We are getting ready to find out

It's the beauty of the game--a multi-dimensional conversation with reality.

i really, really want to hear the honest-to-god assessment on him, and why he's seemingly so far behind the other two, or why he wasn't deemed a better option than a struggling JG. it boggles the mind.
I think Covid and Pruit and Co. derailed him all last year, I know Pruitt had zero plans for using him until he had to, and then threw a totally completely unprepared kid to the lions...with a team around him that had totally quit.

No wonder he didn't play great at first, but he steadily improved despite garbage coaching and played a hell of a game the last game he had a chance to start.

I think the kid must have physical deficiencies, plus little real coaching before this spring, plus I think he may be one of those guys that just doesn't practice well.

If he goes in and blows up it is going to look bad on Heupel to a lot of people, but not to me. I get why he wants Miltons light to come on.

So I guess Crawford sees snaps this weekend? Austin Price kept bringing him up at the PC, carvin interview and the 2 minute drill. He doesn’t bring these things out of thin air so I take it he has caught wind of them potentially looking at him on outside and sliding Mays inside while Coop is out since inside is where we are getting beat.

Also says a lot about that whole Dayne Davis talk was just smoke this spring and off-season

Guys btw, Fantasy football wise... RB Sony Michel swapped for RB Jamaal Williams on bench... What do you think?

He said Milton needs to sit and watch Hooker whether he’s healthy or not today.

I use to go to the FF and opine but my musing were usually met with scorn and disapproval of the masses often resulting in theatrics and tongue lashings via a computer keyboard. Now I come here, a more intimate setting and I am abused by a more knowledgeable group, usually less theatrical and somewhat more short winded. It's like being in a brawl in the FF and more like a Civilized Duel here. All you need HERE is an opinion, a computer, SKITTLES and a White Glove and you can duel with the best VOLNATION has to offer.

Imo what hurt Bailey the most was the lack of a real strength and conditioning program in spring and summer due to Covid. He also was quarantined twice before season started. For a kid that needed work in weight room to slim and strengthen up it really hurt him. He looks a lot better physically after one real offseason when I saw him on field Saturday . Time as 3rd strong honestly not the worst thing for him to get more weight room work and more film study. If he sticks with it which I don’t see him as a kid that causes issue then I think you could see it pay off for him later this season.

Unless he’s backing up Wright on the left side.
