We’ve needed an energy guy like Ekeler for awhile now. Defense was flying around and while it’s definitely better coaching I think part of that is the Ekeler-Effect

The guys calling our game couldn't have phoned it in any harder. They were just having a variety show up there.

Wish we’d have given the bag to Kenneth Walker instead of Eric Gray.

He was a 2-3 star (depending on the service) and ended up getting recruited up by Wake Forest. The only other schools that even offered him were Arkansas State, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois State, Indiana State, Kent State, Mercer, Old Dominion, Tennessee-Martin, and Western Illinois.

Pretty safe to say that truly everyone missed out on him / overlooked him.
