Talking about over-reaction.

Last night UCF fell behind 0-21 to Boise State. The UCF message boards were slamming Gabriel and calling Malzahn a retread. One fan posted, “I miss Heupel.”

UCF came back and won the game 36-31 and Gabriel ended up with 318 yards passing and 4 TDs through the air and added 64 yards rushing to his stat line.

I was pulling for Boise just for the fun of it.
So glad you’re back. I was really hoping to see some statistics. Don’t leave us again like that

One play in particular last night. Blitzer running free at Milton and Small neuts him. Howell would've taken that trade.
That was a very encouraging play. And followed up that big block with another decent one when the guy recovered and tried again.

Here’s the thing: Milton is the best QB option tho. he has to make improvements but he didn’t turn the ball over with throws.
That 40 yard touchdown pass would have been intercepted by any power 5 Cb. That was a terrible throw that ended in a positive for us.

Swain agreed with me on his show today. We shouldn't have been running go routes with Tillman. That needs to be Hyatt, Peyton, or Velus. Tillman is the slowest receiver on the team. He's a jump ball guy. Why didn't we run those routes with the other guys?
I asked about that this morning…. I was told that Cedric and Milton have the best chemistry on deep passes in practice…. They have been pretty much money but said he was starting to develop more with Hyatt now.

Bailey lacked mobility….. struggled very badly throwing down the field…completed the majority of his passes within five yards of the line of scrimmage and held the ball way too long…. They both have issues that hopefully the staff can correct.

Why does that matter tho if he was open? Bc he was. A lot of guys were open last night.

That might be a hard sale…. A NB that several fans hoped wouldn’t start a couple weeks ago and two offensive lineman off of a 3 win team… I think the true test is if they will pony for new high level recruits such as Nolen.
Nolen is going to get a lot of money if he picks UT. No question about that.

I disagree on his mobility…. He is not Josh Dobbs but he is a pass first QB that can run….. he does have to play a lot better.

1st game jitters.

Vanilla game plan.

No need to pass when you can run the ball.

Defense gave up no touchdowns and no points in the second half.

Pitt is fixing to get nut punched.

Milton will get his groove. Heupel will get the offense rolling.

P.S. This is the same board that called Kate Upton fat. Take opinions with a grain of salt.
Kate Upton is fat. Nothing wrong with the way she looks.

No doubt, Milton did a lot wrong. But, it was the first game, and it all looks fixable, if the kid is coachable. The coaches will go through the game tape with him and make corrections. The key will be if Milton takes their corrections and makes those changes. If he can't, I expect we'll see next man up.

She can eat crackers in my bed.

I really think they will make a change if he makes the same mistakes in the Pitt game.

It was thrown about as well as it could have been but you’re right… a good DB high points that and at least knocks it down. That guy played it horribly. Tillman ate some peanuts 🥜

And they should. But people are panicking over the first game. The coaches will attempt to make adjustments.
