I was very impressed with the defense last night. Obviously Solon Page and Aaron Beasley are major liabilities and we did not create any turnovers.....but tackling was the best I have seen it in years and the secondary looks like they actually know what they're doing compared to the past few years. Garner has done wonders with the dline. Going into the game I thought we would give up a couple of TD's....so I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m very pleased with the win. I don’t expect us to be an amazing team this year but we did some things very well. The competition wasn’t great but we did what we should in many areas. Our DL dominated them. Our OL played pretty good. Our running backs played great. Most importantly in a game like this though our team looked pretty well coached and disciplined. No pre snap issues, our offense and defensive schemes looked improved from Pruitts. We are going to settle in and hit on some of these deep balls. Usually early in the year the offense is behind defenses. While I don’t know that any QB on roster is the all star we hoped for I trust Heupel to get decent play from the QB or at least go with what’s working to give us a chance to win. We are definitely far behind many SEC teams but we won convincingly. I’m not saying there wasn’t bad in the game because their definitely was however there was arguably more good. Theo played great. Tremblay played like a man! We had quite a few deflections on the DL. Plenty of good and a W! GBO 🍊
Also Tyler Baron is a bright spot. Nice to see a D-lineman actually get his hands up to deflect a pass and get some QB pressure with a bull rush. Now hopefully he can do it against some SEC O-linemen

That may be true. Bailey is still third string. Hooker is also much more experienced and that is likely a factor also.
Bailey can still have an impact at UT. With how we have seen QB play go in the past couple of years, there is a good chance he will get snaps this year.

I like how Heupel is confident in Milton and is going to continue letting him play and improve. The tools are there for Milton. We will just need to see if a new coach and offense will help him improve through the first part of the season.

QB roulette will leave us with 3 QBs that have no confidence.

Anyone chasing their win/loss expectations?

I was at 7-8 wins I'm at 6-7 after last night.
None of the other teams we play this year have played a game yet. Mizzou and S Carolina are new coaches, and only one team we play has a returning QB. Surely all of them don't hit the QB jackpot with their new guys.

Missouri didn't change coaches. They've still got Drinks.

Mizzou’s coach is in his second season…in the SEC. Appy State HC previously.
