Had some head scratchers on Dynamite last night.
I'm not sure I would have had Cassidy beating Hardy. That basically destroys the HFO as a legit stable. Best Friends beat HFO on Elevation and Dark in trios matches this week and now Cassidy goes over Hardy. I understand that Matt is there to "put over" the young talent, but I think in this case, Hardy should have gotten the victory to keep the HFO relevant. It wouldn't have hurt Cassidy and they could have either had a rematch at All Out or keep building the feud to the next PPV.
Honestly, I don't really care to see Jericho vs. MJF again.
There needs to be more "upsets." Last night would have been a perfect opportunity for "The Wingmen" to get a huge victory. They are gelling as a stable and really need to get a solid push in my opinion. Picking up a win by some form of cheating would have been good. It wouldn't have hurt Mox, Kingston or Darby at all and could have set up some interesting angles between the two groups and generate some really good heat on the Wingmen.
I like the Varsity Blonds, but Garrison still needs work. He had some awful spots last night.
The "that's another guy's shtick and you're going to have to be a little more patient" comment by Punk when the crowd was doing the Yes chant was a nice little touch. Punk had the initials AC on Rampage, last night he had the initials BW on his shoes. Popular thought is that he is foreshadowing Adam Cole and Bray Wyatt. I like these little Easter eggs that AEW is doing lately.
Still enjoyed the show. Not as strong as some of their recent ones, but still so fun.
I don’t mind any of the winners/losers choices. I did have a problem with the main event. You have way too many talented wrestlers to end the night with Malakai Black facing Brock Anderson in a squash match with an angle (Black kicking Arn) we’ve seen already
That was one of the least of my concerns. It advances his storyline as the one to destroy the Nightmare family. Next up is Big Shotty and he will likely get decimated as well. Then it will be Dustin's turn. All leading up to a triumphant return for Cody who will defeat Black on a PPV down the road. I had no problem with it. Black is a legitimate main event guy and it keeps the absent Cody in the backs of people's minds. I think everyone thought that Cody would be the one to run out to save the Andersons. But it is a shrewd move to keep Cody absent for the time being and let Black build up this invincible and terrifying aura that Cody will somehow have to overcome.
I feel like Jericho putting his career on the line should have neem the end of the show. If for no other reason than I think he might actually be ready to hang it up. He has kind of done what her came to do. AEW is a legit threat to WWE, has a lot of young talent that's over, is a draw for current stars in the business, and has several "legends" there. Chris has already had his title rein. What is there left for him to do? With roster swelling, and the victory lap he just took during the whole "Trials if Jericho" thing, I could see him saying it's time to move on to an outside the ring role. He could chase a tile or 2 through the forbidden door, I guess, but is him going after the TNT or tag titles really what he wants to do at 50?Had some head scratchers on Dynamite last night.

What was the Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair stuff about? Have seen it all over twitter that they had a legit fight in match. Then I see the videos and it just looks like a bunch of botches lol.
