Because he's short apparently. If you're under 6'5" I have no idea why you would ever work for WWE after this, especially with what they said about the NXT rebrand. If they aren't going to push Cole, they aren't going to push anyone. There's only a handful of better wrestlers anywhere. I guess they don't want the next AJ Styles/Daniel Bryan/Finn Balor/Shawn Michaels type guy. It's like WWE is trying to fail.

I like Big E. I just think they could have done a lot more for his character long-term if they built it up properly. I'm just afraid they will have him drop the belt in a few weeks to some 40+ year old guy and push Big E back down the midcard.

Don’t think so. Taking the belt off Lashley was rushed for sure but the Big E build started long ago.

Agree the Big E build started a while ago but this final push to the belt should have been slow played more and not rushed. Just screams like a short-term panic move instead of long-term thoughtful booking (which they sorely lack now).

Again, that's just me.

I’m not going to be against anything that displaces Lashley. He is a dud and Raw is currently dead.

You wouldn't think they would short Big E's title reign for a one off ratings bump. But I've stopped expecting WWE to do things that make sense. The real question is who will Vince blame if Dynamite catches Raw in overall ratings. This was just for the 18-49 demo.

All the more reason to be worried, as it didn't matter last football season. Given what is happening to NXT right now, I doubt Vince takes that lying down. I'd hate to be in WWE creative if it happens. No matter what Vince says publicity.
