The WRASSLIN’ Thread

And. I wonder why AEW doesn't acknowledge Josh Alexanders Maple Leaf Pro championship. It's odd that they would let him and Don go be on MLP programming, but not even acknowledge that he's a major title holder in that organization.

I think Bryan Keith won a championship last week in another promotion too.

I'd bet it's safe to say that match went exactly how Cena wanted it, HHH probably had nothing to do with it.

Yeah, i think Cena had the ultimate say in who won the match. What a match it was. I'm glad to see Cena go out having a banger of a match.

Now to remove these onions that made me a little misty eyed during the end of the show lol....

I definitely think Oba Femi will be on the main roster very soon. Dude has a ton of potential and the look to back it up.

Sol Ruca if she sticks with it will be really good moving forward. A very unique move set with a cool finisher to boot.

Good bounce back on that slip up on the ropes by AJ. It looked like he knocked out a tooth. Very rare to see from a talent like him,but like Cena, time isn't on his side. Glad he's okay. Match was good other than that.

Man. CMLL World Champion vs. IWGP World Champion in an American organization. This is a match that should be saved for a PPV. This is history making and it's just like, ho-hum here they are.
The fact they can casually do that on a Collision really speaks to the insane amount of talent on that roster.

I get why Cena took the L in his last match, it was what was best for business and he knew it...

Gunther is going to be prominent star in WWE along with Bron Breaker, Logan Paul (Logan would be the next HBK) if he sets his mind to it. Also I believe Dirty Dom will be the future as well. On the men's side.
Gunther has become one of my favorites, as has Logan Paul. He’s by far one of the best in the ring.

As for Cena, I have no issue with the L, just don’t like the anticlimactic tap out after you do a 3 count limp arm. It was a bad call. I think I would have either preferred the pin or a better tap out angle.

i still don’t get the Lesner squash match; that seemed like a major nothing burger and didn’t really accomplish anything. Lesner isn’t an up and comer that needed to be put over and he already was known as a beast.

That and the whole Rock part are the only things that sucked about the retirement tour.

Supposedly Brock is retiring next year

I'm wondering how much longer Punk is going to go, he's 47, only 1 year younger than Cena. Lesner is the same age as Cena. Orton is 45. In fact a lot of the main roster of WWE is older. Rhodes and Reigns are both 40. LA Knight is 43.

Makes me laugh a bit thinking back in the 90s WCW when WCW was made fun of for being the "retirement" tour, and Hogan, Flair, Savage, Piper were all in their early to mid 40s. Heck they made that whole NWO skit making fun of how old Arn Anderson was and Arn was 39.
