Coronavirus (No politics)

So it seems to me that there's nothing UT can do. This prohibits a government entity from requiring papers. Therefore, if someone shows up to UT and they ask for papers, one can produce this law, and there's nothing they can do. If they still require papers, they are in violation of the law.
Sure there is something they can do. They could just say no fans in the stands.

Absolutely no reason to wear a mask...
You need to wear a mask...
You should double mask...
Once you get the shot, you won't get covid...
You may get covid but your symptoms will be minimal...
A booster shot may be needed...
The covid test is not giving false positives...
The covid test may test falsely but low chance...
The covid test reported a huge percentage of false positives...

The flu has nearly disappeared.... (yeah right)
But why don’t you believe what they’re saying?!?

What would you have them do? There may not be ANY revenue if they cant field a working force. CIP, Ballad has had to bring in National Guard to help staff.

I sincerely doubt businesses will see that big a dropoff to warrant changing their operations.

Don't shut anything down. If you are in a class of citizen that is affected more prominently by covid you should to whatever precautions you deem needed to account for your safety. The rest of us should continue on as normal.
We shut down the entire country for multiple months last year and we didn't come close to stopping this virus. It is here to stay and we are going to have to learn to live with it. Shutting everything down again is not the answer and would send us into a tailspin we might not be able to recover from.

The vaccine is supposed to have efficacy rates in the upper 90%. If it works so well then why are so many vaxxed people getting covid? Or are the vaccines just not as effective as first suspected and then it comes back to why should I get it.

From Moneyball:
"If he's a good hitter, why doesn't he hit good?"

If the vaccine is so good at preventing covid, why doesn't it prevent covid?

According to pharmacists, Docs, and infectious disease nurses ive spoken too, yes. Antibodies alone may not be enough.

Guy I call on had it once. Had antibodies, and 2nd time around lost all his teeth and hair. Several surgeries were required on Kidneys and Liver. The point of the vaccine, is to reduce risk of getting serious infection.

The virus does the same thing as a vaccine, only the vaccine is a milder case. If I already had a case of covid, getting the vaccine is like wearing a condom around the house once my wife is already pregnant.

That is absolutely not true. If you fact check that against any factual information you would likely, actually you wouldnt. I'm not even wasting my time arguing with you troll. Sorry Frank, BGS i truly hope that you dont lose anyone close to you to Covid. Sadly for many then, and only then will they see how selfish their mind set is. It is a choice, and you know the repercussions.

Truly... I pray that God will help you to have clarevoyance, and, to grow to enjoy this life, to help others, and to not take enjoyment in treating others ill.

Anyway, have a good day man.
Literally know somebody that was vaccinated and died just last week due to COVID. Hope you wake up

Is that bc of covid or bc people don’t want to work as much…. We are having a terrible time with staffing in North Carolina hospital system but it is not bc of covid….Look at restaurants as well….. such a hard time getting employees right now.

Oh, we cant afford another shutdown. That wasnt my point. I was talking mandates. If you work for big brother, you should expect a Govt employee Vax mandate. The rest of it is incumbent on pvt businesses. It is a choice.

People with vax getting covid the same amount little sheep
Ehh that’s not true. I could throw some major examples your way. From personal work experience from people who “travel all over the place and work in close proximity to people” (who haven’t got COVID while doing so) you and @Bassmaster_Vol can talk offline regarding how I would know this information.

So if I have a religious reason to not take a medicine a company can refuse to do business with me? I believe the SCOTUS has recently set precedent that would not allow a company to do that by forcing small businesses to make cakes and flower arrangements for same sex marriages when that clearly goes against their constitutionally protected Freedom of Religion. Again, I don't care if a company wants to start requiring vaccines but they should expect the backlash and massive reduction in revenue that will follow that decision.
That bakery case out of Colorado didn't create any precedent that would be applicable in such a scenario. They intentionally dodged ruling on that specific question, but rather decided that Colorado's Civil Rights Commission had failed, in the manner in which they specifically ruled, to stay religiously neutral in it's decisionmaking and thereby violated the baker's free exercise of religion rights. In fact, the opinions suggested that they could have ruled the way they did under a different rationale and things could have turned out differently in the SCOTUS case. Also, that was a government body ruling against a stated religious belief. Private companies aren't held to the same standard as a government body. A company can simply cite a health and safety concern and then deny admittance to those who won't meet the rules imposed by the business.

I had it and that’s a symptom I never had

Me niether. I was fatigued for several days but never had a fever and never lost taste/smell.

My wife never tested positive but lost her taste/smell for a couple weeks.

We are healthy folks and have good Vitamin D levels. We exercise and have healthy lungs. It isn't fool proof but exercise, vitamin D, and no smoking are good ways to not get sick.

Well thank you for explaining. I still say that folks would stop going. The whole covid issue has people stirred up to the point that the slightest perception of infringing on freedom and liberty will cause a poop storm of epic proportions.

I wouldn’t mess with Ole Chizzle is all I’m saying. Baddest dude on here

I got Covid. I also got the vaccine for my Job. It is what it is. You’ve had every other shot known to mankind and so have I so why not lol 😂

Kinda funny to me. All of us here who were in the military got vax cocktails containing things known only to God, and as I recall, I didn't have say in the matter.

Oh. I will likely be getting it soon. As soon as the FDA gave full approval to the Pfizer shot then I was on the clock. Step right up Soldier. My only option is to retire. A lot of folks might get out or they may just do what Soldiers do and follow orders. We will see.
