Here's my thoughts on leasing vs buying and buying a car in general.
I think it all depends on how you use the car. 15,000 miles isn't a bunch of miles. If you go over it's pretty punitive from what I've seen. I tend to drive them until there's not much left of them. I tend to buy used, very low mileage cars. I know used prices are insane right now. A lease wouldn't work for me right now as I drive 20,000 miles per year or more. That may change Ina few years when I retire and a lease may be more attractive. Also, I tend to have the resources to work on my own cars so warranties don't really move the needle for me.
If I were really trying to cut my cost down I would buy used, 50k or less miles, drive it until it's got 180K-200K miles on it and do it again. Maintain it well, yourself as your capable. Learn how to maintain it. Fix things yourself, youtube is a great resource. Teach your kids how to maintain.
He is not a Dobbs type runner. He still has a lot of development that is needed for his game. But so do all of our QBs.The more I think on it, Milton has to be the guy and I really like Bailey a lot.
Team is going to need as many playmakers on O as possible and Milton’s feet are Dobbs style differentiator which can make our line appear better than they actually will be.
They're never to young to help. I started mine at 4 or so. Have them hand you tools. Teach them what tool does what, terminology, what parts do. Even girls. My son does all his maintenance on his car. He bought a 2010 BMW that had been flooded and completely redid the interior himself. Learned a bunch on YouTube because I knew nothing of BMW.requires time & tools.
my kids are super young, although that's great advice when kids are older. iyam teaches confidence...
I mean it's still subjective, part of the beauty of sports.
I'd take Randy Moss every time as my #1 WR pick. But that in no way means I'm saying Moss is BETTER than Rice.
Just like I'd take Peyton as my #1 QB, in no way is that me saying he's better than Montana or Brady or Rodgers etc. it's just don't ask who -I- would pick and then argue that I'm wrong about MY opinion, cause end of the day I'm not changing it.
Doc… with all your fancy golfing attire / equipment / places you play…. Me thinks you could easily afford a Hellcat
Fairly close in running, already looks like a better pure passer. Dobbs had so many leadership intangibles and never quit attitude which also differentiated him. Bailey might be a “sitting duck” in SEC play.He is not a Dobbs type runner. He still has a lot of development that is needed for his game. But so do all of our QBs.
Rice had the greatest career because he maintained a high level of elite for a long, long time. That doesn't mean his highest level of elite was higher than every other WR who played the game. It means he was better at sustaining a high level for longer than anyone, which is nothing to scoff at. But if you needed a WR for one season only, Rice is not the one you should pick. It's just a different conversation, greatest and best are two totally different things. Brady is by far the greatest because he's maintained elite status for decades, but there are so, so, so many other QBs I would take for one single season. It's semantics a little bit, but greatest and best are two different conversations.Charles Woodson was a more complete CB than Deion though, but I can't argue that Deion is one of a kind.
So far the counters have been "but he played with Joe Montana" to which the stats show his better seasons came while with Young.
Irvin as good as Rice? You're high as hell. Don't let team success influence individual success. And if anyone benefited from another player, it's Irvin benefiting from Emmitt Smith. Once Dallas became a juggernaut in the ground game the dude probably never saw double coverage again for his career. Irvin's first 3 years were pretty sad, then Emmitt has his break out 2nd season and suddenly Michael's production takes off.
Wright and Davis. With Calbert down who steps up as the 4th Tackle? Perry(hubbs/price had a love affair every podcast on how good he looked in offseason body wise), the Juco kid or Parker? I lean Parker personally but it might not hurt to have a younger guy go ahead and get all these reps instead of Calbert who was bound to get hurt at some point
