I was going to say that you and I would uncharacteristically agree on this subject, it’s apparent a lot of people have no clue what it does or means

That is the same "privilege"

Again, TN vs Garner, Graham vs Connor lay out exactly the proper use of force by law the officer can use and when...pretty simple explanation.

Regular citizens have that same ability to self-defense as well, the only difference is officers are required to apprehend as part of their duties, citizens do not have to as they can't violate someone's 4th Amendment rights (detain, seizing a body, etc)

I’ve told him/her to check out other YouTube channels to get a more rounded idea in most of the situations Ras “told ya so’s” about. Apparently not interested.

Lets start with your definition of self defense. I’d ask what the civilian did while in your house. We’re others at risk of death or significant injury? Was this just a friend dropping off cookies or was it a man that just raped and killed your mom? Context please?

I said in the earlier post he was a criminal.

I do to. I’ve been waiting on my new stickers for 3 weeks now. They let you print out a paper saying you have paid for them but it’s only good for 15 days grace period.
This law just saved me ticket and court fines. I was pulled over for an expired safety sticker because I was traveling. I had an appt for the inspection when I returned home. The wait for inspection was like 5 to 6 days in Norfolk. He gave me the ticket anyway.
I received a document from the court clerk saying ticket dropped and you owe nothing. Now I know why. It was an illegal stop.

When I lived in VA the police used the inspection sticker excuse for stops all the time. I was going home back to VA after a deployment and got pulled over for an expired inspection sticker, hadn't been in VA in almost a year and the trooper still gave me a ticket.
