MLB cancels ASG in Atlanta

But he's a Catholic.... in the same vein that the Kennedy's were Catholics, in name only. This may be where the name RINO came from like Romney?

So what does that make Trump, the atheist that pays for abortions..? Does he get a funny nickname

Oh and in case you didn't see the WaPo article fact checking Biden on the GA law there's this gem

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/04/02/president-biden-recidivist/

"In reality, Election Day hours were not changed and the opportunities to cast a ballot in early voting were expanded."

So the use of drop boxes for absentee ballots was officially expanded AND early voting was expanded.

Worst attempt at voter suppression ever.

I wonder if the ole gapped toothed sow has made enough $ over the past 2 years to pay off all her debts?
No way.... she’s already piled on more debt. Dumbass can’t even manage her own checkbook, but dolts like loother think she’s governor material.

Republicans are pro-abortion, but only if you knock up one of your employees.

Scott DesJarlais - Wikipedia
I actually know Scott Desjarlais.
It’s interesting that people always want to bring up what he calls “the greatest mistake of his life that stands out among many mistakes”. I’d argue that those mistakes, if you learn from them, can make you a better person.
The guy has really changed over the years and I argue for the better. He’s certainly not perfect but he’s a good example of how people can improve themselves for the better.

What’s the old saying....you can’t testify if you’ve never been tested.

Trust me when I tell you he’s paid the price for that sin 10 times over.

Between the two candidates (Trump -atheist, 2 or 4 abortions, cheated on all 3 wives) and Biden (church every week, faithful to wife) it was an easy decision with my values. I dont abandon them like republicans.
Biden may go to church every week. But does he still have to buy his own wafers and wine?

I don't doubt he has learned from his mistakes, but my point is more that this never phased the the Republican party. I don't think he had serious primary opposition when this came out and if I remember correctly the effort was more to spin and ignore. Not that the dems would necessarily do anything differently.

I will LMFAO if the DEMs win the state of Georgia after the next presidential election.

Just make election day a national holiday. 95% of people are able to physically leave their house to vote. The problem is people choose not to do so. If you cant leave your house to determine who should run our country then idk what to say
Lots of people still work on national holidays. You also just pointed out that 15mil can't leave their house but you don't know what to say. Quite a mess you put out there

NO! All that does is give .gov employees another paid holiday.

Well we did combine Abe and George's birthday into one, so we can combine some of these other ridiculous days off. No, I like the idea of making election day a holiday.. As a matter of fact, it should be a MANDATORY state holiday as well. That way there is no excuse for not showing up to vote.

I have worked more holidays than I can even remember in the course of my 30 years at DAL. You are correct that a lot of people DO work. But removing one more layer of "I couldn't vote because I had to work" for more people will help the overall legitimacy of the system. Frankly, if you don't vote because you have to work, you don't deserve to vote anyway because you are too ****ing lazy to get an absentee ballot.

I don’t get hug up on the past like most. The whole “black face” thing from people’s past is in the same category. It’s possible that it was a different time and those people learned from those errors.

Or to quote the Bible.

“When I was a child I walked, talked and thought as a child, but as an adult I’ve put away childish things”
