Before everyone being paid left then yes, but after the dust settles and the transfers are gone I ain't so sure about that!!

The timing of a great crop of instate players comes at a really bad time for us.

Pruitt put zero stock into recruiting this state. If they weren’t a blue chip prospect, he likely never visited or even heard of 90% of this state.

CJP has to create a place players want to play, and families and coaches want to send their boys. White and he will have to rebuild the culture, and we won’t do it overnight.

2019 - signed 3 out of top 20 in-state (bad!)
2018 - signed 4 out of top 20 in-state (bad! But not entirely his fault)

18 wasn't his class and 19 had to repair the stigma Lyle created 20 he had it going and 21 was a wash because he had a bigger picture class and if those pass rushers and LBs would hv been here with Big Kat and others rumored to want to leave Auburn and come here the true issues of the defense would have been fixed. Ppl the lack of OL/DL recruiting under Butch was a big failure. Ppl blame dbs but a db is only as good as the front 7 and particularly the front 4 in some sets.

So again on the topic at hand the yr he had reestablished the broken relationships he did what he was supposed to do.

When he worked here he was a great recruiter. Now that he's gone he sucks. Same with players... now that Simpson is committed to Alabama, he's maybe the 4th or 5th best QB in the class. It's dumb, but it's just how things work around here...

Pretty much any time you post suckling at the teet of Pruitt I’m here to debate.

You complain, and rightfully so, about Butch OL recruiting. So I point out Pruitt’s lack of OL coaching/development yet you still defend him. There was zero excuse for that OL performance this year. Zero.

You’ve complained about people jumping off the Pruitt bandwagon after losing to an FCS school in year 2 and said Bama fans didn’t do that when Saban lost to an FCS school in year 2 or 3. So I point out that Saban went 12-2 in Y2 with no FCS losses and 14-0 in Y3 with a NC and you disappeared from the convo.

For some wild reason you love you some CJP. I tried, man. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But Pruitt showed that he is not a leader.

He can recruit. Cool. But we want to win games and not get embarrassed by FCS teams and powerhouses like UK and ARK. We got ran off the field, at Neyland, by KENTUCKY.

I just can’t understand why you’re still on his nuts. So for the most part when you make excuses for CJP for similar dogsh*t results that Butch had, I’ll be here for debate.
