Why does it matter so much when they announce it? If they get the right guy, it does not matter when they announce it. If they don't get the right guy, it does not matter when they announce it. So, bear with me here, what is important is that they get the right guy. Simple. Simple.
Why is that the way it should be? There's no football being played. Do you really have to know everything going on inside the athletic department all the time? Most sane people will hear, or read about the announcements when they're made public and just get on with their lives.I think it's funny he takes so much pride in never having leaks. He was at Buffalo (no one cared) and UCF (very few cared until Frost and still it's nothing like what the fanbase at Tennessee is). Being at a place like Tennessee is much different than what he is use to.
When both Football Scoop and Bruce Feldman say we were "talking" to a candidate but they "decided" to stay at their current job, that means we were rejected. So, stating your opinion as fact?
Yeah this is just a terrible job right now. Come back in 4 years and do it all over againI thought we already had the DC and staff hired and were just waiting on the announcement and some already had a good idea of who it was? Now I see Basillio saying Jancek interviewing? WTF...
Is this like when we were told we were swinging big and big FU money and we already got him locked up and we are going BIG this time and then go JH?
You are taking something out of that post that I didn't right. I was just saying when no one cares it's easy to keep things internalWhy is that the way it should be? There's no football being played. It's very simple. The rumored candidates getting worse (in terms of reputation and standing in the coaching community) by the day is also a dead give away.
