I’ve already given one. Can you read and absorb? Privileged? An American in the 21st century? Absolutely, as are you **** face. We’re both equally privileged whether you like it or not. What I do with my privilege is none of your damn business. You (nor any other of you brain dead lemmings) get to qualify, judge, or level assessment of mine or anyone else’s approach to empathy, compassion, enlightenment, or kindness to my fellow man. Ok but Tennessee tried to hire 2 coaches in this search JF and TE, they were getting ready to pay JF Saban type money. So to say Tennessee is some kind of racist place that ignores minority candidates is a pretty ignorant statement. Both said no

That has never been my argument but TN needs to do more as well. All head coaches are white. There have been 3 black head coaches in the history of the university. No diversity in prominent positions. Other players have complained besides AH. It’s not a new issue and everything isn’t remedied by 2 attempts.

Systemic means as a whole. I for one want the best coach available. I don't care what color they are. And thats the way I think the majority of people in Tn. are, whoever is the best; not what color they are. And if the majority are for whoever is best then you do not have systemic racism.

Well, I hate to break this to you, but the number of black males with a minimum of a BS is substantially lower than white males, almost 17%. While you may not believe that the fact that blacks are not graduating doesn't contribute to the lower number of coaches, doesn’t mean it isn’t a fact. It is just easier to blame whitey for all the problems. I’m done talking about this, have a good life.

After Bruce Pearl ( Jewish ) was fired Tennessee tried to hire Smart from VCU and then eventually landed on Martin. When Martin left Tennessee again went after Smart but fell all the way down to Tyndall. When Tyndall was fired it was a no brainer what needed to happen, they went out and hired Barnes at the time were there any minority coaches that had the same resume? No

Lets talk about football, now I will say this when Kippy Brown was passed over for Dooley that was 100% Bullsh!t and should have never happened but I think that had a lot to do with Brown couldn't get along with anyone in the administration. After Dooley was fired UT tried to hire Charlie Strong and had him all but signed up but he left us at the table. Fulmer tried like hell to hire Mel Tucker in 2017 but Tucker was smart enough to stay the hell away from Fulmer because Fulmer was a disaster. This year Tennessee was set to pay Franklin Saban type money but he turned it down and moved to Elliott, he turned us down and I'm not sure why. I think he's looking to stay in the ACC and I think he has his eyes set on that VT job next year because its an easier rebuild than here and I don't blame him. But then Tennessee hired JH who has a far better resume than Tee, Dykes or anyone else left on that list, I'm sorry but he does. Tee has been very arrogant towards people who have tried to help him land smaller jobs to get started, he does come across as entitled when it comes to UT but I think 2021 has settled this and he won't be back. That's OK, sometimes it's best to appreciate one another from a distance.

Racism still exist in this country from all sides ( Black, White, Brown, Yellow ) because people still see color and that's sad but to say Tennessee hasn't tried is wildly inaccurate. I think you forget CH was assistant AD over there for a long time as well.

Tennessee needs to hire the best candidate for the job regardless of skin color and not hire based on the color of ones skins first.

Nothing on Tee Martins resume says "hire me as a HC". He was the WR coach and Assistant HC for a terrible 3-7 team. Why on earth anyone would think he would be interviewed outside of some political SJW reason is ludicrous.

There has been no Asians either...but then again who cares? I want the best person available for the job, regardless of their race
