New Name: PJ Fleck Being Vetted

They didn’t win the division. They lost to Wisconsin by 4 TDs. He has had three losing conference records in 4 seasons including an awful year last year. He literally has a fluke I win over Penn St and nothing else. The year he won 11, he played a weak conference schedule that also included Rutgers and Maryland from the other division and needed 3 last minute lucky breaks to beat his weak OoC opponents
Minnesota lead the NCAA in COVID cases around the 1st of Dec they had over 40 cases in their program of those anti Fleck will say that’s no excuse it’s not, but could be a reason their performance declined. Come on now let’s hear “everybody had to deal with covid”. True, but they lead the nation.

Kiffin , I would take him, but don't see him bailing on Ole Miss after one year. He definetly would not be getting Christmas 🎄 cards from the Manning Families.
Chadwell, no way can't happen.
Napier , no way can't happen
Fleck, Cambell, take either.

Agree, Fleck has more of a TBD element imo. Although on the surface he’s got a couple great accomplishments, I’m not sold on how indicative of they are of how well he’ll consistently do in the future.

Definitely not, but if the saying is what motivates the man post the point of breaking. It means far more than just row the boat. It drives him.
At the end of the day we are Sloganed out. Do you think the opposing fans and recruiters care where it derived from, No, it will be lumped in with Brick by brick and champions of life. Just trying to put an end to this before it starts. He would be better off saying nothing in the presser.

His style wouldn’t work in the pros but in college especially with a downtrodden team like ut, might be just what they need. Question is how successful could he recruit, especially in the south. Better bring on Rodney Garner and a few other very good recruiters. Do it right, might be tough in the sec.

What’s funny is the only way to do it right is to cheat. You think Garner and his peers are clean? No they have been at a lot of programs and done the same things. We sold out to get away from Pruitt and now screwed. We won’t win or get back by “doing it right” we will be “doing even less”.

Will Wade is still coaching basketball at LSU. Let that sink in.

I don’t know if anyone has posted this in the other 17 pages, but the origin of the Row the Boat has to do with the death of one of Fleck’s children. While Butch just had a phrase, Fleck’s has a much deeper meaning. Very high energy and enthusiasm. Could see him bringing similar energy to the way Bruce Pearl did. Go Vols!
