I like them both. I love Tony’s history with QBs more than anything Chadwell has done so far but both of them run the type of offense that you have to run to win big in college football now. That’s what’s most important. Now, I am putting you on the spot. Schematically who's do you like better? Elliott or Chadwell?
You left off 2020. 3-4 overall, including blowout losses from Michigan and Iowa. 2 more probable losses were cancelled, Wisconsin and Northwestern.Look at this track record of building programs from ashes....

Of course i was excited about him but he had a lot of red flags. Certainly a lot more than Elliot. I’m not even sure Elliot has one? Outside of he unknown of haven’t been a HC but like i said before i think being the HC at Tennessee is much like being the president. You’re never truly prepared for this job until you have it. I don’t think being a head coach at Coastal Carolina or Iowa state or Minnesota is anymore preparing you than being a coordinator or a position coach.
That's why I like Elliott more he runs a modern offense and it has scored on Saban.I like them both. I love Tony’s history with QBs more than anything Chadwell has done so far but both of them run the type of offense that you have to run to win big in college football now. Tennessee AD Danny White to consult players on coaching search I've become leery of candidates who haven't had head coaching experience."Small insight: Tee and Elliot are very close. Graham and Eliot are close. Steele and Eliot are close. White and Eliot are close. You can read this two ways: 1- He’s a trusted resource for a common group, or 2- He’s a backup solution that involves keeping some staff."

No it doesn’t lol. There’s so much more that goes into being the head coach at a major power. So rebuilding a rug matt program that was an automatic win for everyone in that conference and taking them to the Championship game doesn't prepare you for the UT anymore than being a one year OC at Clemson? Really?
I gotta agree with you on this. To call Elliot a better coach than Chadwell is kind of dumb.
He could end up being a better coach than Chadwell... but right now, Chadwell IS a head coach and just won coach of the year.
Makes no sense to say Elliot is better, at this point at least.
