Which one? He’s worked in several variations since Baylor. Everywhere he’s gone, results have followed. Maybe it’s all happenstance but I wouldn’t mind a little rabbit foot in our offense which has been crap since 2017.

If this is his “in” then I call bull 💩. If his information comes from two links In a chain like that then Profesional reporters would have the same info.

Or one of the links is would get the story wrong or inflate their bias into the story so it is inaccurate before it reaches us.

I’ll treat this with a fine grain of salt.

Normally I would agree with you, but whoever this guy is showed some prescience with what the internal report would say, that it would be pretty damning, and said on Sunday/Monday morning (before Pruitt was fired) that the Chancellor had received the report and was about to make a decision. I think he probably actually does have a connection with someone relatively low on the totem pole; they aren't privy to high-level discussions, but they know more than a "civilian" does.

There is absolutely zero reason this search should go past Chadwell. Steele should not be a candidate at all. He should only be DC at most. If we hire Steele, it shows that our administration has learned nothing and it’s a slap to this fanbase.

I've proposed this in the past. We need to turn Gatlinburg into Tennessee's Sin City. Build a nice cabin up there to entertain recruits. Hell, maybe Dolly will help out and let us take them to Dollywood for free.

Why can't our administration just go get Kiffin or Freeze and optics be damned. We don't care how it looks. The admin has been caring for well over a decade and it has made us look FAR WORSE than just hiring someone who gets the job done.

The guys we need are just sitting there waiting to get picked up. But our Admin sucks. Those idiots gave the reigns to Fulmer to save face and allowed a Pruitt hire believing he would right the ship. GEEZE, the idiots up there.

It’s good to see that Steele and AP have finally swapped numbers.

I think bringing in Steele and letting him start to burrow his way in while also trying to hire an AD and coach was a bad move. Gonna make it harder to get a coach and more likely we are gonna trot Steele.
