I know it’s not the same thing but Patterson screams Rick Barnes 2.0. Been at a school to long but isn’t actually doing terrible, they finished top 10 just three years ago. Whittingham and Fitz are long shots but why not at least try. Mendenhall is an awesome coach. Virginia was all time bad when he got there and now has them as a consistent winner. It’s well known in the ACC that the culture at Virginia is unmatched.

Patterson owned Herman too, and from a talent standpoint Texas shoulda blown em out. I’m still a big fan of Patterson , but I don’t think he’ll ever leave TCU. They gotta statue of him there.

Everybody seems to be throwing out the same name, Kiffin, Freeze, Marrone, Herman, etc. I like Freeze especially but if we are going to go for a proven Coach why no discussion of Gary Patterson, Kyle Whittingham, Pat Fitzgerald, or even Bronco Mendenhall.

KW and PF aren’t leaving where they’re at. I think the lack of interest in GP this time around is that he’s a defensive coach and due to the abortion of an offense we witnessed this year the majority of us are gun shy about hiring another defensive guy, even though Patterson would likely hire someone decent to run his offense.

Well joe judge and John harbaugh were only special teams coordinators which is basically just a title. Tomlin was only DC for a year.

Steele is the worst one on the list. I think Neal Brown and Justin Satterfield would be in play. Not sure why Caldwell is on there and No to O’Brien.

Would do anything for Campbell but no chance. If we had a chance with him it was last search.

Yep. Its been reported today, Basillo and Wallace both let it slip, seems like AP and BH have hinted at it. It was someone in the recruiting office. Not sure what boosters work in that office, but my guess is none.
