Doesnt everyone hire their buddies though? The common denominator between those failures is UT just as much as it is nepotism

Yep they all hire their friends. The problem with Pruitt and Butch wasn’t that their hired their buddies. It’s that they blames their buddies for early troubles burned the bridges until it was too late to realize they were part of the problem and now nobody wants to work for them that isn’t desperate.

The only reason we are under investigation is because somebody or group of somebodies in the know wanted to make sure Pruitt was out. Everybody cheats, but not everybody has scumbags like that in the loop.

So one of 2 things is happening imo....Steele is being hired to Pruitts staff, or Steele is being hired to replace Pruitt when he's fired later this week.

Maybe they don't have to post the job if filled from within.

I’ll never forget the day TBs show was on TSR. He took a call from some dude. Ainge and the station manager called in and lit him up for taking that call. Right after he left TSR. Never looked at Ainge the same after that.

But yea, I believe TB has good contacts.

The caller was Cattleman...troll, contrarian and popular. He “went too far” on another station’s show with vitriol directed at Ainge and it elicited a power play that Basillio bucked against. You’re correct in that was the beginning of the end.

If it's anyone but Steele, yes you are correct. IMO if Steele is announced before Pruitt and the University part ways, strangely enough it doesn't mean anything regarding Pruitts status IMO.
