Soooo, I just talked to some people inside the program.... man. All I’ll say is we better hope Pruitt is fired. That place is a **** show right now, & has been for a while according to these people. Definitely reaffirmed my opinion that it’s time to start fresh and new regardless if anything is found or not. Everyone says good things about Pruitt as far as players liking him..... I’m hearing differently talking with a few guys

Hahahahahhahahahaha I just off the phone with my guy. If you guys would’ve just heard this conversation. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww. This staff needs to go. Bad bad things happening. All I’ll say is one former big time guy definitely transferring as of now. This staff was 10x worse than Butch’s staff when it came to being prepared. And we are definitely in trouble with NCAA. I see No way JP is the coach Next year. No way. So I guess that’s the positive haha.

Said pretty much the opposite. He said it would be Phillip’s call what we do going forward. Leaders in place hired Phil to do a job, and they’re going to let him do it. That includes the Haslam family. Said if major violations are found and are tied to Pruitt, he’ll be let go. If not, he’ll be back for 2021. Mentioned that a lot of the smoke out there could be coming from disgruntled former coaches, and perhaps players.

Not true as long as that coach actually shows consistency and the potential to win 10+ every now and then. You can’t do what Butch did. Beat UGA and FL and still miss the SECCG and then throw the entire season down the drain with a loss to Vandy to miss out on the Sugar Bowl.

We haven’t had a coach that can consistently win 8 games since Fulmer. If Butch comes back in 2017 and wins 8 games in a rebuild year then he probably doesn’t get fired and I think most fans feel differently about him. Of course, we know what we know now. Butch never had and never will have the coconuts to be a consistent winner on the big stage.

you should listen to hubbs on midday 180, fri.

says general counsel has been in place since Nov, and has yet to interview Jeremy. this isnt a utad investigation. fulmer has weekly updates from boydo and chancellor.

why drag this thing out as close to drop/add deadline, if there isnt something. I can tell you this, if this investigation DOESN'T yield anything spectactular - I will be on board with calling for Boydo and Chancellor to be removed.

Cant imagine with time and effort in this thing that Jeremy can survive.

At some point, we're going to have to face the fact we are most likely screwed. We'll possibly face sanctions. Good players will probably transfer out. And we'll probably hire another Coach McGoogle. Probably at least another decade of dysfunction. Hopefully we can stay just above Vandy, but not betting on it. Pruitt and Fulmer have probably killed UT football for the foreseeable future. This sucks donkey balls.

So damn depressing.

I'm all for canning Boyd, Plowman, Fulmer, Pruitt, the entire AD, anyone even remotely involved in this debacle. We need people that are competent and actually care. Fulmer may care, but he sure as hell doesn't appear competent given what's going on.
