To be honest I think he came into the job thinking the “Saban way” was nationally accepted and not earned. I think they’ve got their answer already just crossing Ts and dotting Is.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Pruitt brought those interviews in in secret out of arrogance.

That’s what I’ve been saying as well. It’s all going to be fine and soon. Pruitt gone and a much better coach announced. Spring will be fun again.

Yep. What has the SEC or NCAA ever done but hurt us? Why would we want to appease them? Look at LSU and AU. Gave both the middle finger to protect their coaches. FREEZE ME

Gus because he has no job and has been available to interview for weeks - and the fact that he hasn't had any interviews published anywhere leads me to believe he's being very quiet.

Marrone because he just became available.

Napier because Steven Godfrey has suggested Napier believed he had the Tennessee job lined up and turned down Auburn because of it.

I would almost bet the house that we'll hire Marrone. I'm okay with that, but really hoping we hire Napier. He's young, offensive, and knows how to run a program. Great recruiter also

If that is what you are going after.

Fulmer may not like Freeze. But to be the "only one blocking Freeze from being hired" would have to mean the opportunity would have to be there to block.

You’ve got a man who’s respectable and a new face for the program. Is he going to take anything to new heights no but he can put this **** show back together and get it going on the right path.

If he hit Barnes success nobody would complain

If we hire Marrone then we have learned nothing at all since Kiffin left. I do like Napier. I would say he would be similar to the Pruitt hire except Napier has the HC experience that Pruitt didn’t have. Hopefully whoever we hire will have better communication skills and be more polished.
