I have always said that keeping Pruitt was the default decision. And that multiple things could change that... and had not. Investigations take on a life of their own. Things change day-to-day in an active investigation.

I try to avoid grand pronouncements like: Pruitt will be fired if he loses to Vandy, he'll be fired after aTm, he has to win these last two games, no way he comes back from this, they can't keep him now, etc., etc.

But I can stop "using connections to fill in gaps of information." Who knew it was so offensive?
Like I said, I believe you are connected and trust you, but I have noticed your opinions and the selectivity of the "information" you post moves with the information and feeling of the day.

I'm not "calling you out" or telling you to stop posting, but to act like you're above the message board fodder is disingenuous, in my opinion.

I would have thought it within the realm of possibility 3 weeks ago....... But not now, the disfunction from the program has been put on full display for the second time in 5 years. Coaches, the good ones anyway, know a toxic situation when they see it. JMO though, I hope you're right.
Listening to Basilio, I'm not sure it's as dysfunctional as it appears. He believes that the new admin over there, especially Boyd and Plowman, know what they're doing. he believes we're going to Texas this thing and try to have our guy in place. I think making Friend pay his buyout shows there is some different leadership over there.

Some say Fulmer had his shot and he will not make another hire.

does that mean they’ll hire a top tier guy or does it mean Tennessee goes back to their old ways...
Im not questioning that.

Im asking when could have Fulmer blocked Freeze being hired?

If this is true, I would believe the candidate is either Gus, Marrone or Napier.

Gus because he has no job and has been available to interview for weeks - and the fact that he hasn't had any interviews published anywhere leads me to believe he's being very quiet.

Marrone because he just became available.

Napier because Steven Godfrey has suggested Napier believed he had the Tennessee job lined up and turned down Auburn because of it.

Can someone slip ole Randy a note that says #FreezePlease

Well their PR department is a complete disaster if this is the case.
