Level I: Severe breach of conduct
This level of breaches covers “violations that seriously undermine or threaten the integrity of the NCAA collegiate model as set forth in the Constitution and bylaws.”
The violations are aimed at fair play so that no one school has a competitive or recruiting advantage over another school or receives a substantial benefit that is not permissible.
Examples of level I violations include:
  • Academic fraud
  • Failure to cooperate in an NCAA enforcement investigation
  • Individual unethical or dishonest conduct
  • Lack of institutional control
  • Violation due to a head coach’s responsibility for an underlying Level I violation by an individual within the sport program
This one is going to get Pruitt, Doug can keep his head in the sand
If it gets him, we might as well shut it down. Because no one is coming here with incoming sanctions from a level 1 violation. I’m all for firing him, but I don’t want it to be for that.

I say we break the bank for this guy and lets roll!!

He would be able to get the occasional 5 star Power I RB, however they will probably transfer out.

Would most likely follow the coaches involved, not necessarily UT

Seems like we need to get #FireFulmer trending. Maybe that'll open their eyes a bit. This is the same thing that caused the Pruitt hate. Pruitt stuck with JG when everybody knew he needed to play someone else and the JG hate turned into Pruitt hate simply because he waited too long. He would've been fine if he played the younger guys, because most fans would've understood. Now Fulmer is holding onto Pruitt when everybody thinks it's time to move on and the hate is transferring from Pruitt to Fulmer.

JG got Bitch fired because of bad play. JG starts getting hated on. Pruitt sticks with him and takes over the fan hatred. Then the recent JG, but newly transferred Pruitt hate, is now becoming Fulmer hatred. JG might really get 2 head coaches and an AD fired 🤣.

Yep.

We’ll go right back to hyping up this team during spring practice until regular season starts, then get embarrassed week after week during SEC play until we beat Vandy, then we’ll go right back to saying “Pruitt gets it”.

We’ve all seen this movie before.
eh, i don't know if he's got enough equity left at the moment justify any of that.

i think the off season will be, uh, colorful....lol.

here's where i'll officially stand....i don't think we'll be all that great next year, so my expectations for the season will probably be very moderate...6 or 7 wins? somewhere around there.

then i'll wait for the responses that will go something like "he's gonna have to win more than that to keep his job, win the east or else"

at the end of the day....i think a lot of what will determine his future, assuming he is retained, will depend on two things:
1. improving the w/l record and be more competitive with teams above our paygrade
2. how he does with that 22 class...what does the direction look like at the end of next season, at ESD?

if he goes 7-5/6-6, and doesn't look completely inept against the good teams on the schedule, or sneaks in an upset or something, signs an great class....he's probably gonna stick round some some more.

optics will play a large role, not just the hard numbers of the w/l record. "gimmie something to believe in"...again.....

most wont' like that. most will say not good enough. they may be right.

the other side of that is he flames out again and just gets fired.

both are on the table....tune in next year to find out!

That isn't necessarily true. If you look at Florida's sanctions they were almost all tied directly to Mullen.

How in the **** does the OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR not already have the most input in the offensive philosophy?!?!?!

This seems to go against the BS line they were feeding us all along that Pruitt was hands off with the offense, and that Chaney was making the calls. For example: who the starting QB was.

Yeah ultimately the biggest "wtf" in this whole situation is that Fulmer's DUMBASS extended a first time HC after year two (where he lost to Georgia State) with a new NO MITIGATION contract.

Honestly, for all the heat about Pruitt to me Fulmer has made the biggest error in this whole thing.
I love coach Fulmer. Was excited to see him get the AD job. That being said.....

Mistake #1:. Hiring Jeremy Pruitt
Mistake #2: agreeing to terrible terms.
Mistake #3: extending him for no apparent reason.

Maybe they're not firing him because they know sanctions are coming and they know they won't be able to hire anyone any better because of that. Maybe keeping Pruitt is better for now because he can at least keep some of the recruits on board as opposed to Joe Mcgoogleme.

Doug Matthews on the Zone
The Chancellor has faith in the AD, and supports him.
The AD believes that Pruitt will turn things around given time.
Chaney will have say in who the new OL coach is, and he expects Chaney to have more input in the offensive philosophy next year.
Pruitt will not be fired for football reasons. The only way he does not return is if something damning comes from the investigation.
FWIW don't shoot the messenger

Cool.... so if that's the case, gump has convinced them of his master BS plan for next season, but don't look at my past 3 seasons, and let me go get fired, underwhelming assistants no one wants or has heard of, I'll go to the closet and pull out the REAL playbook for Chaney, not the BS one that is from 1987, and I'll actually decide to finally start developing players on the defense side of the ball so we don't look so pathetic and lost, without any penetration or edge rush or our LB's to cover anyone, or our secondary blowing coverage every other play and can't and don't know how to defend against the slant, and oh, we still won't choose to run an actual slant, and, and, and, and, .....

give me a F'n Break! Dayum I'm glad I didn't renew my tickets!!!!

None of those things happen without buy in from higher ups. Just like Barnes, if Fulmer didn’t ask for more money from others, Barnes would be at UCLA right now.

Boyd was the one who pitched in the money to keep Barnes.

Fulmer was about to let him walk.

That's exempt in my book. He utterly failed at his job this year and isn't getting fired. Exempt from being judged for job performance.

This.......... so whatever happens next season, no matter how pathetic, the only people to blame is the Admin and AD... PERIOD.
