Have you had a lobotomy between 2016 and now?
No, but I think you (and most people here) could be looking back at Dobbs in light of how our offense has looked since he left.

To which, yes, Dobbs does look like an awesome downfield passer compared to Dormady/JG/whoever we have trotted out at QB.

Actual video of @UTK shooting his shot.

insider status, denied.

Pro tip... in the future be more vague. Say things could get interesting between 12-4. Throw an emoji in there. When nothing happens, come back and say something changes. Old money beat out new money for now. Etc.

Bingo

Except.... Dobbs was the best QB in the SEC in 2016. He also had the most 20+ yard TD’s

The idiots at the very top of the administration at the University of the Tennessee do not care about having a successful football program. Fulmer cares more about his ego and opinion than what the best long-term solution is. He’s quickly undoing a lot of the trust and magic he created by winning a national title. Ole Skoal Can Cornbread will be back another year and after another 4 win season next year and a crescendo of boos each week in Neyland maybe something will finally give. They won’t get it until it hits their bottom line. Simply put, the university does not deserve a fanbase as loyal and passionate as we are. Period. Basketball school! Quit letting the politics dictate the direction of the football program. Go Vols!🍊

You never answered my question a few days ago. Does the university comprehend they are losing the best damn fan base in college football? Serious question, do they even realize that? Cause it’s true. Never thought I’d say it but F*** Tennessee football.

I don't recall seeing your Q. But I'm not Randy Boyd. I don't make the decisions for the University of Tennessee.

Hyatt and Johnson play two totally different positions. Johnson is a true slot WR that likes to work underneath and between the hashes. A like mans jordan Mathews from Vanderbilt.

Hyatt is a field stretcher that was used inside and stacked to prevent teams from pressing him.
Maybe this isn't a fair comparison but Hyatt reminds me a lot of Robby Anderson.

Risking the possibility I missed the announcement:

I just want something announced. Either move on or say, "We are sticking with him. Suck it up."

Get it over with.

UF QB signee Carlos Del Rio is still pretty average at best. He has a huge arm, but he is pretty inaccurate though. Warner Robins is killing him and he's already thrown 2 picks.
It's sad that these two high school teams look better prepared to play than any product we put on the field.

What other choice does Fulmer have?

Phil was brought in under an emergency circumstance to immediately hire a football coach, and he chose Pruitt. Those two were always going to be attached at the hip from day one.
The same one any other AD has. Try to fix their FU.

He should be saying, I had about 10 days to hire a coach the first time: I took a shot and obviously it’s not working so I’m going to make a change

His improvement from Freshman to Sophmore was about as dramatic as possible.

his improvement from sophmore to junior was small

his improvement from Junior to Senior was significant

It’s honestly crazy to me we are having this chat.

I have to be honest that I have had this thought many times the last few years. I am a Tennessee fan because of the influence of my father. He is a huge fan and took me to games when I was a kid (1980s). I have never said anything like this to him because it would be pointless. But secretly, deep down inside, I sort of feel like “why do you put this curse of caring so deeply about Tennessee football on me!” It is become nothing but pure embarrassment and misery but no matter how hard I try I can’t stop caring. I wish I could not care! But I can’t!
Same here. Being raised a Tennessee fan allowed me to create many memories with friends and family and because of that I’m forever grateful. No matter how bad it gets I won’t ever stop. It’s means way too much to me.
