Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

This is a random statement and completely off topic but for the past week I've had a bad feeling, don't know how to explain it other than I feel apprehensive and I'm not sure why.

I just feel like something bad is going to happen. I'm sure this is some form of anxiety but I've had feelings like these before and they've been warranted. I just wanted to get this off my chest and see if anyone else gets feelings like these randomly. Am I the only one?

For the record I don't think this is Tennessee related.
Dont sweat it its probably Tennessee Vols related. We can survive it.

Freeze has done it all but the big one. Much like Barnes they both have the knowledge to get it done
Not sure what you mean by "Freeze has done it all". He never won the SEC or the SEC West. He had good and bad seasons at OM. He had good and bad wins at OM. And we're not entirely sure how well he'll recruit in the SEC because his recruiting was aided by cheating for which the program was busted. I still think he's a good coach. I still think he'd be better than Pruitt. But I'm not willing to say he's the guy to elevate us over Florida or Georgia. Maybe he is. I think he has a better chance than Pruitt. But like I've said, he's overly hyped by many on this board as a "homerun" hire and I just don't agree he's reached that level.

I just can’t. He is nothing like bitch. Butch inherited a successful program from Kelly. Frost is at a successful program but he is a good coach. Nebraska is just not a good program anymore. Iowa State had never made the Big 12 championship and was a garbage program before him. He is one of the best coaches in all of college football.

One of the best in all of College Football? Really?? Thats Silly.

Again, he may kill it at his next gig but there is no way to know. He has not done enough for me to want to take a chance on him.

Feel like that all the time. Assume it's anxiety related.

I know what you mean, I have those moments as well. Im sure what happened in Nashville has your anxiety up a bit. I know this is hard to do, but try and find something that not only keeps your hands busy but your mind as well.

Hes beat the top dog of the SEC before. I don’t doubt he can beat Mullen or Smart. He’s a guy that can get Tennessee to where they want to be. He just needs to go out and prove it. They need to stop handcuffing him and let the man do what he pleases

Agreed, Fulmer does not care what anyone else thinks including fans, boosters, players and coaches. He thinks he knows best. He is not worried about what anyone thinks. His superiors will have to deal with him before anything gets done. We don’t have a Pruitt problem, we have a Fulmer problem

This is what I was asking about yesterday, can Pruitt get the job done if he had no outside interference from AD? I don't know and I am not trying to defend just seriously asking?
