Agreed, Fulmer does not care what anyone else thinks including fans, boosters, players and coaches. He thinks he knows best. He is not worried about what anyone thinks. His superiors will have to deal with him before anything gets done. We don’t have a Pruitt problem, we have a Fulmer problemOnly reason he wants Pruitt is to keep acting coach. Needs to be gone too.
Sounds like a guy that needs to be shown the door. All I am saying is Fulmer does not care what anyone else thinks including fans, boosters, players and coaches. He thinks he knows best. He is not worried about what anyone thinks. His superiors will have to deal with him before anything gets done. We don’t have a Pruitt problem, we have a Fulmer problem
Sunday: @frank cashes out his millionsAight VN. We gotta gather some funding, join the young money and bring Hugh
Which is kind of the point I've been making. Any hire we make will be risky, but that doesn't mean don't make it. I'd take Freeze, Napier, Chadwell, or certainly Campbell, because at least the potential is there to be better. I don't think any of them should be written off as "not good enough", but at the same time, I don't think any of them should be seen as "guarantees". And really, Freeze is the only one being talked about that way. I think the guy is a great coach, but I also think he's being overhyped on the board. He's William Wallace, 7 feet tall, shooting lightning bolts out his arse according to some. If he were to be the hire, I'd hope he came in and tore it up, but to act like he's a guarantee to do it, I just don't agree. I think he'd be better than Pruitt, but he's not gonna magically put us on par with Florida and Georgia. That's gonna take time. When Bob Stoops walked through Oklahoma’s “door”, he was a coordinator hire...not a homerun. We’ve grounded ourself down to hoping a Nick Saban suddenly becomes available or why bother? We can wait a decade or two or hire an Urban, Ryan Day or Lincoln Riley BEFORE they become unrealistic.
I think it's his decision and that is how he should act. You are kidding yourself if you think he doesn't KNOW what the fans what. He takes it into consideration. The fans don't pick who they want.Agreed, Fulmer does not care what anyone else thinks including fans, boosters, players and coaches. He thinks he knows best.
