He just turned down Texas. That’s more desirable than UT. Forget about Meyer. Infantile dreams. What makes y'all think Meyer has ANY interest in stepping into this dumpster fire? He's reportedly been offered much better jobs and said repeatedly he's not coming back as his health is more important. I don't see it.
Oh I agree completely.
If Fulmer and his crew has any say, we will be looking at some retread defensive coordinator or a 3rd tier low level coach again.
Fulmer interviewed Pruit, Tucker, and Steele twice before settling on Pruitt.
Gives everyone something to talk about besides the smoldering garbage pile on the field though.

They can afford it, the money is there. Whether or not they do anything close to being proactive in resolving our football troubles is a differently thing entirely. After losing so much money this year due to covid and greatly reduced Attendance plus the general fan apathy due to the terrible season, I am not sure the athletic department can afford to let Pruitt coach next year. They need a change and a coach that will generate excitement and ticket sales and Pruitt isn't that coach.

My fault actually, I was trying to agree with ya! Not sure why folks think Meyer would finally jump off that sweet money-making gig he's got to come pick up these ashes but I sure don't see it!
I don’t believe that at all. I think Fulmer with a full coaching search that he doesn’t have to throw together will surprise people.
He has to own the Pruitt hire but do we think he would have hired a Pruitt type if he had a full 4 quarters to find a new coach? No chance
