Hahahahaha!!! Pruitts is gonna end up with no one in this class!..it’s starting to looking like fulmers 08’ class and we all know how that ended👀😅

2021 - 6th (currently)
2020 - 11
2019 - 7
2018 - 13

Prior to Cristobal
2017 - 19
2016 - 27
2015 - 16
2014 - 21

Pretty significant difference and I think most people would agree.

I don’t get the love tho. He’s recruited better , sure, but he hasn’t proven anything as a HC yet. Not sure why he’s considered a home run.

Came into this season expecting big things and they’re 3-2 with losses to Oregon St and Cal. Did have a great season last year tho.

Why are you so down him?
Pac 12 is a weak conference. He lost to a bad Auburn team and Az St with an NFL QB. He was a complete failure at FIU going 27-47. He comes from the Saban tree and wants to model his program after Saban, which is not the way to beat Bama. Hes lost his last two games to a rebuild Oregon St and bad Cal team and will probably get beat by USC as well. He walked into a program with talent and beat up on bad teams, he doesn't know how to build anything.

Yeah really don't want to recruit against Mario. Hope they end up with Steele.
Recruiting against him is the same as recruiting against O, gus, saban, Mullen. Whoever gets the auburn job is going to recruit roughly 7-10th like they always do. Errybody get off cristobals c*ck. Or just be auburn fans if he’s going to make them so great

Know you are just pulling from that site, so this isn’t directed at you, but anyone who thinks Auburn doesn’t know exactly who they want and have an indication they will get them is a bit looney IMO. You don’t buyout a dude with the record and resume that Gus has with 21M if you don’t know exactly who you are filling the position with. Either that or Auburn is dumber than our administration is.

I wouldn't put it past them if it's true that high money boosters and the administration were at odds over the decision.

I don't know that Mario can cut it in the SEC though, but the dude can damn well recruit.
Thus far in his career Cristobal strikes me as a Phillip Fulmer/Mark Richt/Mack Brown/Kirby Smart type coach - a tremendous accumulator of talent who will overwhelm most teams with better players, but struggles as an in game coach and will lose a few games a year to teams with near-equal talent. Although as Fulmer and Brown showed, if you get enough talent, eventually you can get lucky and get over the hump.
