Even if true, it comes down to who Boyd sides with, Fulmer or the Haslams.

But are the right people growing tired? As a former player and a NC winning coach, I have love for Fulmer, but I think he's over his head as AD. I think he truly loves UT, but I also think he values his own opinion too much. Football has evolved since the days of his success. Our way of thinking needs to change with it, and I don't think his has.

Honestly don't remember, but his contract is not small. UT isn't going to buyout this staff, then turnaround and pay another large buyout on top of it, then sign him to a high dollar contract.

no way you pay that buyout to hire Kevin Steele. I do think there was smoke to the bidding war with Oregon over Cristobal. If I am them, Kiffin is #1. Sarkisian is #2 (although I could see him heading to Arizona). I also think that whomever it is, that person in the bag already. Or at least Barn thought they were in the bag, otherwise you wouldnt have fire Gus.

I'm tired of both. Not sure either are capable of making good decisions.

lol. because we still suck at football. he's a great coach. by all accounts he regrets leaving the way he did and would like to right that wrong. because I forgive the dude for leaving for his dream job and believe people can grow. because I don't live in fear and wouldn't live in fear if he came back. because I'm beyond caring about how we win or whether our coach/program holds some moral high ground over other coaches/programs because everyone has character flaws, and everyone cheats in cfb, and good lord can we just win some games please?

Each to their own I guess. I will not sell my soul to the devil for a single win. It is not like he has one MAJOR issue in his background. I do believe it is possible to see the light and become a responsible human being, but if he goes anywhere this year after signing his deal, then I will not believe he has taken that path.

Idk why folks are mad at Fulmer. It's incredibly understandable and justifiable to wait until after the season concludes. None of the candidates would change any esd kids. Imo.

I’m not sure what you mean by Fulmer’s way, but I will say that I think too much of VN cares about winning in some arbitrary ‘right way.’ It seems to me the only people who care about such things are fans of teams who get stomped every Saturday. I just want to win. Idc if we have to vacate a NC 5-10 years after.
