Love your optimism, but A&M gonna be making a statement to get in the playoff. This could be ugly.
I think the BIG 10 took care of that when they allowed Ohio State to play in their championship. I don't think there's 2 spots for the SEC.

So I've always shared personal stuff for advisory purposes. Anyone wondering about kickback on the chainsaw blades for angle grinders..well, this is at UT and supposed to be my thigh.

*Don't open if squeamish*
GRAPHIC.

yes, there is kickback

When you reply to the post, if you have opened the spoiler, you get a closeup. Yay!! Seriously, that looks rough, brother. Hope you get well soon and that 2020 goes tf and very far away.

I would’ve thought you were a lot further along in the recovery process.

Or maybe you’re like me and have cycled through it a few times and are back somewhere in the middle.

Kinda like that old Lifehouse song: “Sick-cycle Carousel”
Great news! I am in the acceptance phase. I made it through. I just accept our football glory days are behind us now and it is what it is.

Yes. SEC will get two in. Clemson vs. Notre Dame will take one of the top four out.

Alabama
Clemson/Notre Dame
Ohio State
aTM/Florida

That is your playoffs this year.

Nah. Lol. Dude is still coach of Jags last time I checked, but he does check a lot of the boxes. His rebuild at Syracuse was pretty impressive IMO.

Best wins were WVU twice and an (at the time) undefeated Louisville team. Not too bad, but I'm turned off by 2 losings seasons while there and then only having 1 successful season with the Jaguars in his time with them.

11 seasons as a HC and only has 4 with winning records, seems like he's not very good at running the show.

It's my belief that if we were already putting feelers out to potential coaches we would know about it in the media.

The fact that we don't tells me that if we have to fire Pruitt we will be late to starting the search, which may not hurt too bad because Napier or Chadwell would take this job any time.

The only way it is happening is if Fulmer has one candidate in mind and both are keeping it quiet.

I think you're right, although all the reporting is that they think they can get away with some assistant changes and kick the can down the road.

I believe Pruitt has Bobo lined up to come in - because there's some talk down at South Carolina that Beamer wants to keep him there but something is causing him to put it on hold.

I guess what I'm saying is that I agree with you that I feel like we're going to blow this thing up - but it's pretty clear we haven't had the foresight to get ready for it before it happens.

Freakin Bobo. SMH. Staff of SEC rejects coming right up.

The years prior to his arrival at Syracuse were pretty bad, and he had his work cut out for him. He did have two 8 win seasons there and a conference title, which was essentially going from worst to first in his conference in year 4. He still managed to look pretty solid even in those losing seasons iirc.

There isn’t always a correlation between NFL failure and College success, but I feel the experience is still worth something.

I guess I’m giving him some bonus points too. Familiarity with Fulmer may contribute more to winning than all of us on this side of the office door realize. Also, I think all his experience would make him a good stabilizing force at minimum.

I want to believe our administration is working towards a new guy but we haven't heard a peep which makes it very unlikely IMO. All of the chatter is moving assistants and aiming for a 1-2 win season next year
