I’ve had somewhat of the same thought and I hope you’re right. Also, Phil has been silent and I feel like he would’ve already came out and backed him. We’re going to see, gonna be interesting.

If we pass on Freeze this time around for the same dumb reasons, he will be flipping our recruits to some other SEC school that's having way more fun than us too.

I've had that same line of thinking for a couple of weeks now. JP has been coaching like a guy that wants fired and wants out. I believe he'll get his wish on December 20th, maybe earlier if the SEC shuts it all down next week.

I think our trajectory with Lane Kiffen crossed at the wrong time. If the order would’ve gone Dooley, Butch, Kiffen it would still be Kiffen and there would be rings and hardware attached. It was just bad timing.

Good post. I'm now past all that and thinking positive thoughts about our football program. Call it meditation, praying, or whatever you want to, but I believe that sending positive energy to our football team will work if enough of us do that.

I actually think they've cut the check. Probably letting the media/fans speculate all they want why they work to secure the next HC hire (who is without question still coaching somewhere right now). This time Fulmer & Boyd have had time to sight in things, I expect it to be a short search when they do pull the trigger.

I agree with this. Freeze is a more accomplished coach. Risky in similar ways for sure. I also think we were too proud to crawl back to Kiffin and I understand that. He did us dirty. But at some point we've got to swallow our pride and bring somebody in that gives us a chance.

The fact that Freeze is "risky" is the only reason we have a shot to get him here.

I think you're right, although all the reporting is that they think they can get away with some assistant changes and kick the can down the road.

I believe Pruitt has Bobo lined up to come in - because there's some talk down at South Carolina that Beamer wants to keep him there but something is causing him to put it on hold.

I guess what I'm saying is that I agree with you that I feel like we're going to blow this thing up - but it's pretty clear we haven't had the foresight to get ready for it before it happens.
