Are you going to judge them on one game? The receivers have probably been going through the motions all year not expecting to see the ball. If you're not the primary, what are the chances the balls coming your way with JG at the QB spot. I'll reserve judgement because of the thrower.
It has been all year. I’m just giving you an example when there was a different QB other than JG.

What deal
The new TV deal with the SEC. Even though the universities won't see this money for 3 or 4 years. And I think it's weird they have a big press conference for the announcement because everything I've heard says they agreed on these contracts and signed them last year 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I heard tonight about another option at South Alabama too. Tee might end up at S. Alabama now that AState opened. Some of same candidates and AState probably viewed as a little better job
Think Charles Huff is another guy they want but he’s going to get the Vanderbilt job.

You guys might hate this, but, I hope Tee gets picked up by South Alabama because I honestly think he did a terrible job coaching Wideouts.

He needs to go.

Well, now that Keyton has left, that means we basically went two full recruiting cycles without a contributor at WR. We basically have Palmer, a couple of marginally talented seniors, and a bunch of freshmen with loads of potential that haven’t seen the field because they haven’t had the time to read the encyclopedia Britannica that apparently is our playbook. WR may be the only position where youth is actually a valid excuse.

I think another lesson learned, or confirmed, is that we fans don't have much more than a clue who will succeed as hc. When Barnes was hired most here thought that at best he was a meh hire. Many thought it was a bad hire. And that only changed 2 seasons ago, some still don't want him.

He’s good not great. He’s the second highest paid coach in the country and has been to 1 final 4. He’s a 22-23 record in the tournament and that crap he pulled with UCLA pissed me off. I’m okay with him but I don’t like him. Don’t @ me.

Pretty sure he got hit with another quarantine as well, which is why he wasn’t at the last game, which the opt out I believe is a way for these guys to ensure they have an extra year of eligibility without burning a redshirt.

I’m not sure why keep hearing that the playbook is so hard. As someone else mentioned the other day. Tyler Bray ran it...

I think his point was that Barnes has been better here than many expected. The reaction when he was hired was mostly “Eh, he’s a retread, was really mediocre the last several years at Texas.”He’s been way better than mediocre so far, even though he is currently overpaid.

He’s fine at a place like Tennessee that isn’t a basketball blue blood. He’s never been a good tournament coach, but if he makes deep tournament runs here and there that’s about as good as we can do I think.
