I'm applying for the next HC position.

Some of my highlights:

1. I'll run dime formation 100% of the time, even on goalline stands.

2. I'd hire a run and gun coach.

3. I'd pay every 5* recruit in the nation with all my yearly earnings except a meager 100k that I'll keep for myself.

4. With the increased talent, I'd eventually hire a good DC.
I like it. I volunteer for TE coach. I'll take a 500k salary. 75k for me and the rest for recruits.

You are forgetting how he wasn’t even a QB that was respected before Joe Brady turned him loose. EdO had the handcuffs on him 2018

You know that Brady wasn’t even the OC right.....

I love Brady but Burrow is a generational talent at QB. It was just a matter of time. Especially with those weapons. Their defense was ass too

Sure Brady was the master
Mind behind that offense and you know

Burrow only had 16 TD passes his junior year so if he was a generational talent it’s clear something was holding him way back.
That something was EDO

I think it was DeBord who wanted out, and he took the Indiana job because he’s from the state. I recall VQ saying he wanted to be closer to family as he had grandkids. He’s taken an OC job in the AAF and an analyst job with Michigan since, but those jobs aren’t nearly as demanding and probably not even full time.

I will always associate DeBord with the pin and pull run scheme that he brought to the offense. It was a thing of beauty when we were executing it.

Here is an article about the Debord’s Dial Sweep using Pin and Pull:

It’s almost like a healthy joe burrow, and the emergence of Jefferson and chase could’ve helped too. Either way. Coach O brought in all those guys that led that team abs were not recruiting anywhere near that so it doesn’t really matter.

I think Pruitt is EDO right now at Ole miss

Clearly
Not ready

Campbell/Freeze, with the fallback option being Fickell.

Chadwell, Napier, et al are "prove it" coaches. We've tried that since Fulmer was fired and it's failed every time. It has never been our M.O. to go out and hire a "proven head coach." Time to do something different.

I don't want another Saban-influenced guy. I know Napier spent some time at Clemson too, but it was before they took off and he's spent quite a bit of time around Saban. I'm convinced most of these Saban guys are just order-takers/button-pushers that Saban values for their ability and willingness to follow orders and do something to his exact specifications. I don't think these guys have a clue how to do it outside of that environment. I know Napier has been good at Louisiana, much better than Dooley was at La Tech, but that's a small time job. I want a guy who has a proven track record at a P5 job

If is so difficult to get a guy that is having success at a power 5 school. That’s why we would be incredibly fortunate to land Freeze. This shouldn’t be a difficult decision.

I'll be your QB coach. I ask for 200k a year. I will donate 60 percent of my salary to recruiting.

I think Neal Brown would be a good fit for UT. He has SEC experience. Some of you know, I live in NE Arkansas and I follow AState football and SunBelt football (Vols first). Brown’s Troy teams were the most impressive teams I have watched in person outside of UT games. His teams were always disciplined. When playing AState they were more physically imposing than all other teams. They were fundamentally solid. What we have seen for the last three years has not been fundamentally solid.
I'm in new Arkansas as well but dont follow a state but what about Blake Anderson
