You guys remember how many guys turned us down and how desperate we were after Butch? Look at us now. We have Napier, Freeze, Chadwell among others that would literally love to be here and would gladly take the job. I CANNOT BELIEVE how simple this would be. It's ALL RIGHT THERE!!!

Funny part is we’re gonna drag our feet an they’ll all be gone and we’ll hire coach McGoogle.

It’s hilarious we have all of these coaches saying they want the TN job that isn’t open, and we have mouthpieces from the AD saying Pruitt will return next year. What gives? I wonder who is in the background pushing the narrative of these coaches wanting the TN job that isn’t open?

Don't blame him one bit, he would be a good fit there. Good place to cut his teeth being a HC and he has ties in the area and is well respected.

Wishing nothing but the best for him, which unfortunately, isn't at UT right now.

If the SEC GOTW gets moved to ESPN I hope Sean McDonough gets the gig. Would probably be Fowler and Herbstreit though

My son is 10, and relatively recently, he heard McDonough's call in the 98 UT-UF game. He can spot when McDonough is doing a game. For me, he will always be synonymous with that call. I was at the game but have heard the call numerous times.

the way recruits are running for the hills, they cant even do that right.

Napier has experience at two separate power 5. Would have better contacts with other coaches, since he has been at 3 power fives. The waters at a school like TN are a lot deeper than at CC. Imo Napier is more experienced to handle the media, boosters, admin, and players attitudes then Chadwell.

He also serves as his own QB coach

In Napier's first season as OC at Clemson that was their record point total in school history up to that point. Is 20-4 last two seasons after 7-7 his first and Louisiana was coming off of three straight losing seasons. His dad was a well respected high school coach in GA as well.
