It may not be sexy, but bring me Tom Allen. Dude can coach and his players love him. He would be a great fit from a personality stand point and coaching stand point. I’m not sure he could ever win a title but we would have a solid team year in and out.

To be fair, Fulmer was never supposed to make the next hire but not for any paranoid reasons/conspiracy theory type reasons. Fulmer came in as a stabilizer and temporary AD because the AD as a whole couldn't get its act together but this was never gonna be a long term job. He's too old for that. Pruitt screwing up this badly this early puts everyone in a bad spot on that front. Ideally, the powers that be would've settled on the next AD before it was time to make a big hire like this.

TBH though, if given time and proper resources I feel like he could make a decent hire. Imo Pruitt may have been best available at the time, but he wasn't the best Fulmer could get in better circumstances, imo.
