This dude is the polar opposite of Jeremy Pruitt. Total head coach.

I'm actually not joking. I don't want Miami to draft Trey Smith before the fourth round. He's not worth that. Talent alone doesn't override it on the OL. You need to be a cohesive unit. Trey doesn't show, on the field or sidelines, that he cares for it. I'm sure he's a good dude, seems like he is, just not a good teammate on the field. I said what I said.

If Graham isn't retained by the next staff I say throw money at Gillespie until he says yes to come back.

When is the best time to fire Pruitt? Before or after esd? After the last game? Is the university vetting candidates? Does Phil know they are vetting candidates? Can we get a real coach?

Or worse - not like him? Just wondering because the same was brought up during his recruitment. None of the Marietta guys his class followed him, nor did he attract a flood of skill talent or recruit others like many believed he would be able to, even in the E11 (or maybe it was another comp) when the other players selected the best players they did not vote for him, despite good performances. Now Keyton suddenly bounces as soon as HB is the starter.

Those guys transferred to Marietta to play with him. Taji Johnson came with him in the 8th grade from Hillgrove. Gilbert and Vidal transferred from Woodward to play with him their SO years. Ricky White transferred from Wheeler his SR year. Bailey helped to turn them into stars. Gilbert had 5 catches his FR year, 105 his SR year. White had 55 catches his JR year and 103 his SR year. I think Keyton had like 8 catches his FR year then when Bailey got there he had 88 his SO year.

Minutes weren't that well rotated, we had 4 starters clock 30+ Still with Fulkerson, Pons, and now EJ in the mix for post minutes Uros will really have to step up to see quality minutes. Cause Barnes will be more than happy to give minutes to EJ, Keon & Springer as well as Olivier.

Thanks man--- would like to get some info from someone in the know on if he will see the court this year... we could really use a big man like that ... If Uros can come in for 15 minutes a game, and has the athleticism and agility we need, he could definitely be a difference maker... hope he's not just a project.

I never knew a UGA fan that "hated his guts." Incredibly frustrated with him, yes, and many wanted him to be fired for years, but I didn't know anybody who hated him.

Hell, I'm a Tennessee fan and couldn't really dislike the guy even though he was a rival coach. He was too nice of a guy to hate and frankly is too nice of a person to be coaching high-level college football. And I mean that as a compliment.

Well, I knew plenty. In real life and they were everywhere on UGA forums. So...agree to disagree on the perception of Richt post-2010 or so, I guess. To be fair, there were plenty of UGA fans who admired him for his values and character, but also plenty who wanted him gone ASAP because of his inability to win big games.

There's a difference between wanting a guy fired and hating him. There were plenty of UGA fans that wanted Richt fired for many years, but I'm not sure if anybody actually hated him. Contrast with a situation like Pruitt - plenty of people want him fired, and I don't think he's well-liked either.

Richt is the exception though; most coaches when they are fired also are widely disliked for personality reasons too. If Saban, or Kirby, or any number of coaches weren't successful they'd be hated for their personalities too.

That isn't even remotely accurate. We went a month without scoring an offensive touchdown with Larry Scott.

I actually think Uros will blossom next season when he's the main attraction big. Fulkerson is hard to take off the court as well as Pons. EJ is more polished than Uros and proved why he was brought in, he'll eat up the off the bench minutes for Fulkerson/Pons I think. The real challenge is can Uros earn more time than Olivier.

I remember working at Dicks Sporting Goods in 2005 and the Vandy game was on the big screens in the store. I was watching in between moments of pretending to know what I was doing at work and never really gave a second thought to us losing. I think Jay Cutler was the QB that year. Anyways, when we lost, I had to almost convince myself it actually happened.

Now we have won 4 out of last 9 and our streak stands at 1. It’s just so hard to reconcile...
