Sad. Does the OL not believe in HB?

Or worse - not like him? Just wondering because the same was brought up during his recruitment. None of the Marietta guys his class followed him, nor did he attract a flood of skill talent or recruit others like many believed he would be able to, even in the E11 (or maybe it was another comp) when the other players selected the best players they did not vote for him, despite good performances. Now Keyton suddenly bounces as soon as HB is the starter.
Genuine question - do other players just not like the kid?
It isn’t just HB. Someone pointed out that it happened in other games as well.

I’ll be sure to tell my daughter when she’s born in a few months that her dreams are effing jokes. Don’t be a pinhead, dude. It’s not like they’re actually pushing for a team full of females to take snaps and all that. It’s just a cool story and she got her chance during a pandemic byproduct & it was over with. And no I’m not some PC buttmunch that is in agreement with anything and everything, but holy hell use your head for something other than a hat rack.

What does calling out the clear ridiculousness of a PR stunt have to do with the dreams and aspirations of your unborn daughter?

It was a PR stunt BUT Fuller also stated that it was like a dream for her to be able to do that. THATS where I’m focusing. Good for her. Bad for the sake of the stunt. All I’m meaning.

I am more anti-Sarah Fuller hype than I am anti-Sarah Fuller, but in fairness, didn't they give her Special Teams Player of the Week, not overall POW?

Yeah I think so. Just to give it more publicity. Which is clearly all that was for

He played and got a shot up too. I think Colorado's lineup dictated it more than anything.

Really? I watched the entire game and didn't think I saw him go in... saw the other big man we have go in breifly, but Uros seemed to be on the bench the entire game.. oh well, either way I'd like to get the skinny on where he is from a developmental standpoint. Not good if he barely played in a game where everyone seemed to rotate...

Yes. Because he’s a grinder and has a great personality. Just personal preference i guess.
That's fair. They lost a bunch from last year, so he has an uphill climb there that will take a while. I don't have a long term opinion of him one way or the other as a HC.

From Basilio's Blog this morning:

Hearing All Kinds Of Chatter That Pruitt Is Pitching A Reworked Coaching Staff:

Are you excited about the possibility of Mike Bobo at OC for Tennessee's 2021 football team? This is highly comical to consider. Can't Pruitt get out of his comfort zone? Orange Throat discussed this yesterday but you could literally see as many as 6 coaching changes for next season. When you start doing the math it's going to get very expensive to bring a fledgling Jeremy Pruitt back in 2021. It's simple math. Tennessee won't attract highly sought after coaches in today's market without guaranteed two or even three year deals. We're talking about piling on potentially another $7 million in buyout money at the end of this deal. That's quite the investment when you stop and think about how little Pruitt has shown.

The Tony Basilio Show
Rip the bandaid off. Somebody up there has to do the math. No coach worth a flip is going to move his family and hitch themselves to Pruitt's star.

And as the father of two grown daughters, I'm happy for her. Piece of advice from a guy who's raised two daughters and helping to raise four granddaughters: best tighten up your emotions. They won't serve you.

He also had equity with the fanbase due to being so successful early on. And a huge chunk of UGA fans hated his guts for years and couldn't wait for him to get fired.
I never knew a UGA fan that "hated his guts." Incredibly frustrated with him, yes, and many wanted him to be fired for years, but I didn't know anybody who hated him.

Hell, I'm a Tennessee fan and couldn't really dislike the guy even though he was a rival coach. He was too nice of a guy to hate and frankly is too nice of a person to be coaching high-level college football. And I mean that as a compliment.

Minutes weren't that well rotated, we had 4 starters clock 30+ Still with Fulkerson, Pons, and now EJ in the mix for post minutes Uros will really have to step up to see quality minutes. Cause Barnes will be more than happy to give minutes to EJ, Keon & Springer as well as Olivier.

Met an UGA fan who had Pruitt’s personal cell number. Offered to call him, but I knew that was begging for an awkward exchange. Had nothing but praise for him.

Wow. This is a crazy take. He is a good kid and he is liked. You must have skimmed over the posts showing the o line not helping JG up to then....

I could extend far more grace to a decent man who has the occasional bad year than a Saban wannabe who brings all of Nick's wit and charm without any of the accomplishments.
