What’s got me perplexed is how do you not turn it over, win the rushing game, and win time of possession but not be in that game. At no point we’re we in that game, really. FL never felt threatened, hence calling 50 pass plays.

We took a normal L tonight with no JG catastrophic mistake, and I don’t know how to feel about it.

Turnovers - yes we didn't turn it over. But neither did we turn them over. We are 12th in the SEC in forcing turnovers. This is a wash.

Win the running game - could matter, but not when you give up 400+ passing. Nor did we run well either, just better than them. This is one of those sort of meaningless modern metrics that used to be used a lot, ie "the team that wins the rushing battle has won this game 12 of the last 14 matches" USED to be a popular thing. In the modern game, it isn't nearly as important.

Time of possession has nothing to do with winning games. Just an old school myth tied to the days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust and teams that ran all the time. Not applicable anymore.

Velus Jones is a trash kick returner but a good WR he was open on both deep throws HB just over threw him. Crazy we’re just now letting him play at WR. Hopefully he comes back next year.

His OC is Dewayne Ledford. Ledford is former NFL lineman and he is a very good offensive line coach. Oline plays better than their stars. Satterfield calls plays

Maybe he did, but it was mentioned on their board that Satterfield was lobbying hard just to get in on the process (and this was well before he was publicly linked to USCe)

Malzahn is 10x the coach Butch is. He went to a national championship with Marshall as QB, has won the West multiple times, has actually beat Saban and bama. If Malzahn was our coach in 2015 and 2016 we win the East both years and compete for a national title in 2016

I am naming dropping. Daddy Saxon was a very good friend of my dad. Dad knew younger Saxon before he became THE agent everyone used. Nice family and Daddy Saxon is/was a Dentist. They lived in Memphis not sure where the Jimmy lives.
